"My parents got a membership and were very excited to start traveling in their retirement. They got a guest pass for me and told me about the amazing benefits they were promised. I took advantage and booked a concierge appointment for an overseas trip in September. The 45-min appointment was a perfunctory 6 minutes, just long enough to be rude and give me an up-sale on a cruise. I never received the promised package/plan from their concierge desk (it's been almost two months now when it was promised in 3-5 days). I even tried a live chat and they apologized for the 'inconvenience' and said they were 'working on it.' I'm not sure how much my parents paid for a membership, but I'm afraid this could be a scam (the salesperson told my parents the parent company also owns Orbitz, which I haven't dug around to confirm yet). Worse, I am sorry that they were so happy to share their new adventures with the family and set up a special Christmas announcement with all of us kids. They deserve better."
