About the Business
Siesta Key Rum is a popular tourist attraction located at 2212 Industrial Boulevard in Sarasota, Florida. This unique institution offers free samples of their award-winning small batch rums, infused with real food ingredients for a pure and delicious flavor. Visitors can also purchase bottles of Siesta Key Rum and browse through a selection of merchandise made from recycled rum bottles, including shirts, hats, and candles.
The tasting room at Siesta Key Rum is housed in an unassuming warehouse building in an industrial park on the north side of Sarasota. Despite its ordinary exterior, the interior is a distilling paradise where visitors can experience the craft of rum-making firsthand. The institution is closed on certain holidays, but no reservations are necessary to enjoy a tasting experience at Siesta Key Rum.

"Great experience! I have been to alot of distillery tours. This is one of the most educational and loved all the samples! There is also the oldest bar in FL inside which is an amazing hangout spot. The staff are all amazing and very friendly. They definitely know their rum! We will be back and this is by far my favorite rum!"
"This is the first place in awhile that I’ve gone and not been charged for a tasting. They have a bar in the back where you can order mixed drinks. All staff members were very friendly and open to answering our questions. There is a tour however we missed that. They do close at 5pm. This is run by a group of retired friends so the hours are limited and the rum is very good!"

"Great way to start a roadtrip to Sarasota! The workers were friendly, knowledgeable, and good hosts; the tour was fun and to the point, and the rums tasted so good... I recommend the coffee and coconut flakes flavors. We'll come back to get the different rum cake versions!"
