"I recently stayed at the Peaceful Pines property in the Black Hills, SD with some family for Thanksgiving. The location is great and very near where family lives. Additionally, the surrounding area is very beautiful. The home is large and spacious, the five bedrooms worked well for myself and the family I was sharing the home with. There was plenty of room for adults and kids to spread out, hang out, play games, enjoy the hot tub, etc. I would definitely consider renting this location for a future trip to visit family."
"Horrible company. I rented a luxury property in Melbourne, FL for the weekend- and I received nothing that was described besides a beautiful house and a view. I called and tried to reach out to this company over 10 times within 2 days, and did not receive a single response from anybody- besides an answering service, that stated somebody was working on the issues and would be in touch with me. 3 days later- I checked out and still, nobody got in touch with me at all- during or after checkout. We just left the house as is, and heard nothing from anybody. Complaints on their luxurious rental: Pool lights, jets, waterfall, and water slide did not work And was filled with dirt Jacuzzi did not work Beach umbrella did not work Grill was filled with junk, and had no utensils and nothing to clean the grill with Garage door did not work and was not able to be locked, so anybody could enter the house - unsafe Sliding glass doors in the ground floor had no lock, and anybody could walk right in- not safe No dishes No laundry soap No hot water on the 1st floor No response or assistance throughout my entire stay, besides them sayin they would make it right, and no follow ups, no check ins, no updates as to what they were doing to fix the problems. Sent a pool guy to clean the pool yesterday evening- and the Man just let himself into the backyard, and refused to tell us who he was, why he was there, and the management company never informed us that anybody was even coming- just a strange man with an attitude entered the home Also was greeted at the home by 2 individuals who smelt like alcohol and marijuana- the one guys name was “toke” which is slang for smoking weed, and they showed us the home- did not mention anything about the broken amenities and were also not responsive to my needs or complaints. They were at the house waiting for us in a banged up mini van- and they looked like they were a small step away from being homeless. The garage was already opened when we parked our cars in there and then they closed it manually- without informing us that the entrance was broken and could not be locked. I couldn’t make this up if I tried… on how disgraceful this service and false advertisement on the home was. I paid top dollar for this rental, and was treated like a peasant paying bottom dollar for a shack in the ghetto. Besides the headache I had to Deal with the entire time, when this was supposed to be a vacation with my family. I requested a refund and they sent me back less than 1/3rd of what I paid. I paid over $2800 for 2 nights. This company is a scam and a joke."
"The rental itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. It had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing vacation, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of seating areas both inside and outside. The location was also perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops."
"I recently booked a vacation rental through this rental company and I have to say that I had a great experience. The booking process was smooth and easy, and the customer service was excellent. They were responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, answering all of my questions and providing me with all of the information I needed."
"A mixed experience. W Residences The Good: Location was amazing and the property itself was nice and clean. We ended up on a very high floor which was great. Fun bar with live music. Great pool areas and a fun Mexican restaurant. The valets were super accommodating and helpful. The set up of the 2 bedroom was a really nice layout with an open feel and nice bathrooms. Awesome balcony. They included a couple boogie boards which was fun. The Not So Good: I never felt like I was dealing with an actual person. Automated type responses. Asked about the possibility of an early check-in and got an instant auto response that it would depend on which unit we were in. Since I hadn't yet been given that information, I had no way of knowing. Also told it would be a half night rental - aka over $500. For two hours? We opted out of course. Got there at 3:45 and they made us wait until 3:50 as that is policy. We chose this property over a hotel so we could cook in the kitchen. It was so minimally stocked we had a hard time doing it. Nothing that could go into the oven - baking pans, cookie sheets, etc. One small bowl not big enough to mix anything or make a salad even. The ice maker was broken when I got there - fixed it myself and was told someone would contact me but never heard back. Also didn't love being forced into the cost to rent chairs and umbrellas everyday since our plans didn't always include the beach. Very expensive for no housekeeping and zero in the way of things you get at a hotel like shampoo, extra towels etc. I've stayed at tons of AirBnB's and they generally have lots of basics. Stocking the place with laundry soap, dishwasher soap, extra paper towels and toilet paper added up plus we had to waste a lot of it given our time frame. Next time, I actually think a hotel with a mini fridge and microwave is a better option. Also it says it sleeps 6 - the pull out is super small and uncomfortable and was tough for 2 adults. Kids would be ok. I was offered $100 for a 5 star review. As I read the 5 star responses it makes me wonder."
