Novo Kendall Town

"DO NOT MOVE TO THIS PLACE! Worst service, it is always dirty, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SECURITY...my neighbors were dealing drugs, I had the police knock on my door twice and when I moved out their admins failed to notify me that they used my deposit and that I still owed a little amount of money. Was never made aware of and now I'm dealing with the debt collectors agency AND IT IS THEIR FAULT!!! LITERALLY THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED IN! I wish I can write down all the things that I had to deal with while living here. I just read all the reviews and THE ONES WITH 5 STARS ARE AN ABSOLUTE LIE!! I 10000000% agree with the ones with low reviews. Yes, parking is an issue. Yes, front desk staff is rude (very). Yes, there is a bug problem and they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it. Yes, there is NO security. Yes, there are parties in the pool very late at night with people staying until late with very loud music. Everything that other people complained about IS TRUE. And I have a lot to add on: 1. I saw a person dealing drugs in the parking lot 2. My neighbors were dealing drugs as well - I saw AT LEAST 30 people coming in stoned into their apartment and it smelled like they had literally a meth lab inside. 3. One time someone tried to break in into my apartment around 3am in the morning. 4. Another time a police came at 4am because they were doing an investigation about a dispute and "things being dangerous" 5. the 1st floor neighboor was always smoking weed. EVERY SINGLE DAY, and nobody said anything 6. Police asked me TWICE if I had seen anything weird in the parking lot because cars were being broken in 7. The gates never worked, people from outside could come in freely and they did nothing about it, nor cared. 8. For MONTHS I couldn't walked into the hallways or the stairs freely because they had a SEVERE bug problem. did nothing about it. 9. Could NEVER use the amenities because they were always COMPLETELY full (by people that didn't even live there) and I DID NOT FEEL SAFE. And I could go on and on. My mom came to visit once and she urged me to get out of there ASAP. I'm a female and I was living by myself. Had to put security cameras and several alarms so I could feel a bit more safe. I COULD NOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT OF THERE! I literally payed an extra month there and in a new place so I could be out sooner than my end date. Do not move there and If I could post more than 1 bad review and stars, I would do so a million times."

"I have been a resident here since Novo first opened and I loved it. The maintenance team are awesome and friendly. The apartments are cozy. However, the new management team is a bit mediocre since Meagan left. DESTINIE is one of the new property managers and she is TERRIBLE. Destinie doesn’t have good customer service skills and is not pleasing to talk to. It’s confusing how she is in a leadership position but is incapable of exhibiting humility, or building a positive relationship with the residents. She will eventually cause many residents to leave because of her lack thereof. FUTURE NEIGHBORS, PLEASE AVOID DESTINIE AT ALL COST. She will turn your good day to a bad day. The other colleagues in management at Novo are very helpful and understanding. It is a bit distasteful that their hard-work may go unnoticed because of one bad apple."

"** The management and maintenance team are very responsive and helpful** I have been living here for about two months now and honestly my experience has been pretty good. The property is really nice and the area is nice too. I have had a few problems and complications which is no one’s fault, things just happen sometimes but the management team has been responsive and overall excellent in providing customer service and I absolutely love that. My A/C unit did break down for while but the maintenance team took care of me, they gave me a portable A/C unit which allowed me to be comfortable until they were able to properly repair my A/C. The property manager, Ms. Shawana, was so nice and made sure to check on me through my difficulties as I was getting settled in so I’m just really grateful for their awesome customer service. This situation definitely called for me to be patient on my end but they made things a lot smoother!!"

"I love the community for it's quiet time. The community as a whole is an awesome area. It is clean and the amenities are like no other. I love the hammocks through out the property. "This past year living at Novo has been such an amazing experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live! The leasing office staff are always so lovely and incredibly helpful with any and all needs that we have had! As well as the maintenance staff who continue to go above and beyond to assist the residents. The property itself is stunning with amenities that suit all of our needs! The On-site car wash was a life savor as well as the pet park, and access’s directly to the walking path around the lake which makes it supper convenient for walking your dogs! Would highly recommend this complex for anyone looking for a new home!"
