Holly Bluff Marina staff were informative, friendly and thorough in explaining what to expect on the river and how to handle the houseboat. We rented River Runner and were thrilled with the cleanliness! Everything you have in your own kitchen was available, as well bedding, etc. We learned so much on our few days on the river! "Big shout out to Holly Bluff Marina for the great experience. We rented the 44’ River Runner to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary by enjoying the slow pace of old Florida life on the river. The boat was immaculately clean, very thoughtfully well-stocked, and the customer service was outstanding. The boat and systems operated flawlessly, but for one minor exception—the water pump went out, so we cruised back by the dock for a NASCAR style pit stop and even though it was Sunday morning, one of their engineers met us on arrival and had us back out on the water in about 20 minutes. The staff here are thorough, and truly considerate, knowledgeable and helpful. Now about the things you can expect to experience that are out of control of the staff… - We saw alligators, manatees, bald eagles, ospreys, and caught some nice bass - We pulled into Silver Glen Springs to the north and swam in the crystal clear water - We docked (for free) at Astor Marina, and crossed to the other side to listen to live music and enjoy great food at Drifter’s - We anchored each evening on the inside of Lungren Island, which was a beautiful, safe and peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day - And the weather for us was perfect…hope you have the same luck"

"We, and a few family and friends, rented 2 houseboats for 3 nights. The team at Holly Bluff Marina did a good job getting us oriented and on our way. This vacation was definitely one for the memory books! If you are looking for an experience where you can immerse yourself in nature, but have the amenities of glamping - this is worth it!"

"The boat was awesome, had everything they stated except no dawn soap and sponge so we had to wash all our dishes with the hand soap I brought. Beds are pretty comfy and I like the fans in each little room. People are very nice and friendly at check in and boat orientation. Some bugs which I am not a fan of. A roach crawled up my leg while getting oriented on the boat. They would do well to get all the boats professionally sprayed some time soon. Other than that, we had an awesome time. We will definitely be back!"
