The Pines Apartments

"I have been living at these apartments for a year now. So this is my honest review.. Lets start off with the living environment. The neighbors I have are very quiet in my opinion it may just be my building but everyone is chill. The staff is ok ... i would describe them as merely unprofessional because sometimes the office is closed before scheduled times and some of them can have an attitude. When it comes to the apartments, they're beautiful especially because I was one of the lucky ones to get a new one. It also came with a "laundry room" without washer & dryer but I was able to buy for myself. If you dont have your own washer & dryer you can you the community's washer and dryer which is by the mailboxes. I want to close out the review with two things we need. #1 there are no cameras on the property -- anything could happen & I feel it would be definitely useful to have them. Also when you cook you LITERALLY HAVE TO HAVE YOUR MICROWAVE FAN ON OR YOUR ALARM WILL GO OFF/// if all that was fixed i'd be nice"

"Nice apartments ?Yes, some roaches not a big deal.. are they sound proof? No. You can clearly hear your neighbors.. Are they kid friendly? No. They prioritize old hags that have nothing to do with their life. Families with children should know if they like their own privacy or have visitor, families coming over this is not the right place for you. Staff is unprofessional. This place should be only for the elderly."

"I am absolutely in love with my apt at the pines. I think the builder's did an amazing job with the all the features in evey room. Im having fun decorating and enjoying my porch everyday! I have been here since June/2019 and have no complaints. The staff make you feel so welcome and apart of the community here. The pool is beautiful. I enjoy watching the children play on the playground. Well done on the beauty of the grounds as well. I nevet want to leave."

"The homes here are very nice. It is brand new so there is still construction and they are still working out kinks in communication. I give it a few months and things should be running smoothly. I also agree with keeping the wrong people OUT. I really don't want it to feel like every other complex in the area."

"Nice - midscale looking apartments. Quiet place to live (right now). Relatively worried about the future because their was an incident the other day where police were here & what not. We still don't have a mailbox yet (they set up some mildly not so good temporary ones outside -- yet I still haven't seen a mailman). No washer & dryer facility (they give you a washroom & tell you to purchase your own). The good thing is you'll get a balcony which is nice & I really love the microwave & fridge we have. I really wish they'd put up some cameras and the light by the entrance is rarely on at night so its really dark at the entrance. I'm hoping & praying that it stays this way because as the person who reviewed b4 me expressed, I would not like it to be like some other apartment places in DeLand. HOPEFULLY THEY KEEP OUT THE WRONG PPL (hopefully doing background checks is effective). Have a blessed day. I would recommend living here nonetheless."
