"I have a friend living here. And I am amazed at what a beautiful apartment building this is. If you want an apartment that is nicer than most and has more of a community feel to it this is a great place to check out. Even when we help my friend move in the staff was helpful in getting us some carts to help us. They seem to have activities."

"What once was a beautiful complex offering outstanding amenities is now a money-grubbing, corporatized, cold and uncaring facility falling rapidly into a dangerous state of disrepair. One of the two elevators in the 8-story apartment building has been out of service for months. There is also an indescribable nauseating stench in the main building that can't be disguised with the copious amounts of disinfectant and air fresheners management uses in the attempt to 'fix' it. The landscaping is pretty much just lawn cutting and trimming. No working sprinkling system. What were beautiful grounds are now scrubby patches of lawn with dying vegetation. The sidewalks are not kept clean and free of fallen debris or sand that washes onto them after a rain. Trash cans and dog poo trash bins are frequently overflowing, especially on the weekends! The daily housekeepers were terminated and there is now a contracted service that comes less than daily. Carpets are old and buckling. The roof in the atrium leaks. The onsite manager hides in her office. Communication is non-existent. Ridiculous."

"Aventine at Deland is like an Oasis in the middle of Deland, FL. I lived here for a year and it really was one of the best experiences i've had and i dont say that lightly. The place used to be only for senior citizens and the service shows its from a time rarely seen in our digital world, it was nice to experience that. The people that work there truly care and their about the details and the details is where its at. I could be a little demanding and this place left me with no complaints and that's no easy feat, believe you me."

Heather and Blanca also do a great job! A great location, close to downtown Deland. Property is safe and quiet. Love living here."

"When I first moved here, management promised the world to me. There go as any other business is to attract people. To fill the occupancy, but as far as individual. Request Or anything off-the-cuff or off the agreement of the lease is out of the question. They are not people oriented they are business oriented solely. Personally, I had some issues in my apartment and I did not get the. Proper time frame to get it fixed with the proper management. Kindness this in itself. Will bring me to decide whether I sign another lease. As any company has, there are people who go out of their way and once who do not at all, even budge to go out of their way whatsoever, no difference here. What I do like about living here is. Spacious and has what it needs. To live appropriately. Budget wise, they have gone up with their utility prices. But the rent has only gone up $25. Therefore, I believe the price is still less than Daytona Ormond or Port Orange. Overall my cat and I will live comfortably here for another year. And then we will move forward to a place that is more friendly and cleaner outside environment."
