"There are rats and roaches all around the property. A week ago the police were banging on my door about a missing person. I can't wait to move out of this place. It is the worst place I have ever lived in Florida. Considering I have lived in worst areas that is sad. From the beginning I was lied to about move in dates and forced to move in early. Then they also messed up my lease. They put one move out date on the contract and another on the lease. The office was confused because the leadership was awful and clearly they don't communicate with each other. When I moved in my appliances didn't work. My dish washer and washer. There was also white paint all over the floor. When I went to the office I was told there was nothing they could do because it had been a week into my move in date. I don't understand why I was rushed to move into the apartment when it wasn't ready. My fan in my bedroom has never worked properly and I have asked multiple times for it to be fixed. The work order was put in and not completed properly. Today I am at a loss for words because this is the third time my washer has broke. I officially haven't even lived here a year. How is that possible you ask. Because the washer and dryers they carry are from when I was in college 20 years ago. I can't wait to move out of this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is windermere prices for pine hill experience. Actually I know people who live in pine hills and they have newer appliances."

"Do NOT rent here. My roommate had an ESA. With all the turnover from the office, the new staff "lost" the lease with her ESA, as well as her paperwork. They are charging her almost $2,000 now. The new office staff won't accept a written confirmation from the past office, who received the paperwork and confirmed it. Stating they don't know the person who my roommate was talking to in the office (as he no longer works there). WORST. PLACE."

"I initially thought the reviews were overreacting, so I booked a time to meet with the leasing office. Almost like a staged actor, on cue, someone comes in as I’m looking at floor plans and begins yelling about how he’s been waiting for maintenance for two weeks and the agent just refused to take any action; “it’s a holiday! They’re gone all week!”. The resident looked at me and said, “You shouldn’t live here. Management is terrible.” And then the leasing agent told me to leave and reschedule. Thanks for helping me dodge a bullet bud, you’re a hero."

"I know people are always looking for apartments near Disney and asking for good/bad ones. But I just have to let you all know that Citra at Windermere, while only a few minutes from MK, is trash. They do not care about their tenants, they're overcharging on renewal (the same apartment was listed $800 less than the renewal rate), things are always broken (A/C unit especially) and upon move out, they charge for cleaning (even if it's spotless) out of your security deposit. Not to mention, things were noted at move in that were broken and they also tried to charge during move out. There have also been cops called to the complex multiple times and the walls are super thin, so you can almost always hear your neighbors. This place is awful, they are mismanaged and they are not worth it. Go ANYWHERE else."

"Buyer beware. All the reviews you see recent are a accurate description of this property. Maintenance, while nice does not complete items quickly. There have been unresolved since we moved in earlier this year. Nice looking amenities but hot tubs been broken, grounds are in shambles, community office is always broken and pests are everywhere. The reports of hard to reach management is accurate, you will only hear from them if they are sending notices. The pool is overrun with nonresidents and community dumpster and trash cans overflow consistently. Parking is tough, no enforcement on broken down vehicles taking up non paid spots. The location is great, but that’s all you’ll get out of it. New management has taken over and somehow has gone downhill since the previous one. Save the headache and cost and try another various property down the street."
