The Retreat at Windermere Apartments

"Don't move here! Walls are thin, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing no matter what time it is. When you bring it up to management they don't care and state "thats apartment living for you in a rude attitude." The design of the bedrooms are made poorly. Everything is too old and they need to renovate this whole property."

"The apartment, room wise is good. They build it kind of weird with the floor plans. Our master bathroom is with the guest bathroom and vice versa. The big issue is the cheap walls that allow way too much noise to go between neighbors. I understand it is an older community, building wise, but definitely need to be upfront with your clients when they come in the door to possibly rent. You can hear everything from conversations to loud stomping if you have a neighbor upstairs. Make sure you are going to be okay with the noise if you decide to rent here."

"My family and I have been living here for 4 years, we had never had problems with anyone, and at the end of last year we started to have problems with the managers because we put a ring for the safety of my family and myself, after that the The roof of one of the bathrooms started to grow fungus. We reported it and we never had a response with a solution or any type of action. I am allergic to that fungus and that is why we were worried. Today my family came to the office to mention that We were going to move since we can't continue living with those mushrooms and the managers were extremely rude to us, we told them why are they being so rude and one of the managers or assistant managers said that she talks to us however she wants In turn, we asked to speak with one of the girls who speaks Spanish and she told us that she was not going to speak Spanish because she didn't want to... anyway, if you are going to move to live in this complex, take into account the attitude of everyone that part of the staff (managers, assistant managers and managers) since they are extremely rude and rude to the residents."

"We only lived here for a year And it was okay. Only complaints are that our upstairs neighbor had a busted pipe and the water flooded into our apartment. The ceilings were wet for months and they didn't do anything about it I just worried about mold/ mildew. Speaking of mold when we moved in the dishwasher was caked in mold. So was the toilets, toilet tank? Sinks etc and it keeps coming back no matter how much you clean. Our clothes smelled very musty like the washing machine was dirty or moldy inside. Also we lived above the spa and they came upstairs constantly banging on the door telling us to be quiet. We would be walking across the house and they would start banging on the ceiling. Reallyyyy annoying. The area is awesome though and management was super friendly. Everything is kept up well in the commas well."

"We lived here for almost 6 years! Lived in two different units during our time here, both of them had amazing views! Could even see the fireworks from Disney from our balcony!! Great community and neighborhood. Chandra in the front office is wonderful. Always was super helpful and kind. We already miss it here!!!"
