"This place changed since I first moved in 2 years ago. People writing reviews about the grounds having dog feces everywhere are not lying. If anyone says it's quiet here they're lying! I live on a second floor and am sandwiched hearing noise from above, below, next door, etc..I have made several noise complaints to the manager and nothing was ever done about it except told if I want to move to another unit?? I gave up complaining since they don't seem to care about anything but getting the rent paid. At this point I am eagerly awaiting for my lease to be up to get the heck out this place so that I don't have to walk around my OWN apt with earplugs or earbuds to block out the dropping of constant items, ball bouncing, other people yelling out loud etc... So for those of you who will be paying the new rates of $1,900.00 to $2,000.00 for an Apt here, I'd think twice about this community because it's not worth it! You're better off buying a house or renting one if you can find one."

"me and my husband had lived here since 2009 and love living here . The maintenance persons are the best.when we put a work order in it takes them less 12 hours investigators did not tell to take care of the work order . The managers and all the staff in the office always talk to you like family. Me and my husband feel safe and secure living at Halston"

"***Update 9/2023*** We're sad we renewed our lease here last Spring. Grounds are still littered with trash and dog feces. Almost every building reeks of weed at all times of the day & night. Residents will smoke openly in breezeways and on property. There's been a pair of men's underwear in one of the breezeways since last week. There was a shooting in broad daylight in the middle of a weekday afternoon. Our dishwasher breaks constantly. We used to really enjoy living here but, things seem to have gone significantly down hill. Don't feel safe here and definitely not cleanly. ***Updated 12/22*** We’ve been living here for 8 months and are updating our review. Maintenance requests are still attended to very quickly, we love Jesus. Pool has been closed for a few months for renovations and the gate has been broken and left wide open for months as well. Biggest issue we have is the amount of garbage & dog feces littering the property. It’s absolutely disgusting & unsanitary. The office has sent out reminders to clean up after pets but clearly it isn’t working. We don’t even feel comfortable walking our dog due to the fleas & smell. We were searching for apartment complexes for about a year, I am so thankful our original plans fell through and we found Halston. Applying from out of state was a breeze and Jayvon was super personable and responsive. Our apartment was newly renovated and is 10x more beautiful than we imagined. Maintenance team is fast and courteous, office staff are pleasant and helpful. Grounds are beautiful and you can tell this place is on the up and up. We're happy to be here!"

"Here I leave you my opinion I am very responsible friendly the MR. Jesus is the best maintenance. He does everything quickly. He works very well. He is always happy. He says hello. They should give him a good recognition and pay much better to what they are paying him. He works very hard. More than work that they don't touch him. He is a good worker. Don't let him lose. Mr. Jesus has made this building"
