"My wife and I went to see an apartment here, my wife had set up the appointment two days prior to the showing for 10am. When we get there the guy that works there said weird we don’t have an appointment for you (when he’s the one that set it up) but still shows us a 3 bedroom on the first floor. We liked it besides the very outdated appliances but we were ok with that. Same day we asked about the process and requirements to be able to rent, I told him my credit history and how my credit just went up 98 points to get me into the 600s he said that perfect I make more then 3 times the rent myself (not including my wife’s income) all together we made 5 times the rental income. He assured us to fill out the app that it would be a for sure yes that we would get the apartment. The next day my wife calls to check the status he picks up the phone and tell us that yes they received the outcome but wouldn’t have an answer for an hour to call back. 15 to 20 later I get an email that we were denied because of credit score (which they never even get) insufficient income to support the rent and serious collections in my credit when I had none!! So I called asked to speak with the young man rosey then lied to and tells me that he isn’t working today, I told that’s not true my wife just spoke with him she still continues to lie! I explained to her that he gave us false information told us that it was a for sure thing paid then $1726 and now their telling me that can take up to 30 days to get my money back because they do it by check. These people will lie and manipulate you into thinking that their your friends just so you can put whatever money you have down for an apartment they know you would never get. Also what co-worker calls the other co-worker a liar and says that he didn’t know what he was talking about when he gave us the original information. So much for loyalty in that place."

"My family rented from them for 2.5 years. We paid our rent on time every month. The final renewal was for 6 months, and we moved to Connecticut after the first two. We were paying on time monthly for the remainder of the time. After mailing the keys back at the end of the lease, I never heard anything from them again. Fast forward three years, and I get a Credit Karma notification that there's a collections account on my credit report from Tivoli. I had never been contacted by them OR a collections agency, so you can imagine my confusion. When I called the property office to ask them what this fee is for, the lady was very pleasant and told me that she would research and call me back. That did not happen. When I called again the following week, I was not treated with the same sunny disposition. She told me that the damage we caused was for more than the security deposit, and they put me into collections. Awesome. Had I known about this, I would have paid it immediately. Instead, I have a stupid $201 (now paid) mark on my credit for no reason. If that sounds like a fun time for you, go ahead and rent here."

"I love leasing here at Tivoli. The amenities and community is really nice. The neighbors are quiet and I haven’t had any issues since I’ve moved here. I especially like their gym that’s open 24/7. The office staff was friendly in regards to questions I had about my apartment. As a UF student, the location is nice. It’s close to campus and Shands hospital. There’s also a bus stop in front of the community that takes you to UF."
