Providence at Palm Harbor Apartments

"This is Providence Apartments of Palm Harbor: 50 Kendra way, Palm Harbor, FL 34684. The apartments are average at best. And for the price that is a very generous statement. The best thing is it’s fairly quiet from road noise if you don’t live in a building close to Tampa Rd. The 2 office employees and the maintenance crew are solid. The manager, on the other hand, is a nightmare to deal with. She comes across as bitter and mean (just look at the reviews over the last 14 - 16 months). She has no service skills and ownership and accountability are foreign concepts to her. Not only that, she is very likely retaliatory and/or discriminatory towards those that have made complaints or strongly voiced their displeasure for whatever issues they’re having. Since they have a captive audience, there is no incentive for her to actually be pleasant but guaranteed she would not make it more than a week if she managed somewhere where customer service is a must."

"I have lived here almost a year, Zach and Lauren in the office have always been very prompt and friendly and helpful. Renewing our lease was a breeze and the maintenance staff has always been so great and efficient! Our maintenance requests have always been handled extremely fast and everyone is so sweet. This community is so quiet and peaceful. Neighbors are all friendly as well. All the bad reviews ive seen are mostly old, theyve clearly gotten a better staff since then. Move on in!"

"Apartments are outdated, but had wood-like material on all the floors of my unit which I liked. I feel like the units were designed well, overall, even if they could use some updating. Appliances were basic. My electric bill was very high because the dryer needed ran 3 or 4 times to dry a small load of laundry. I would have been happy to stay but they did not offer to renew my lease. The initial application process was extremely difficult. In addition to proof of income with pay stubs, my employer had to sign off on how much money I make per hour. This is an inconvenient process and delays the overall application process. The community is nice and quiet, the grassy areas were taken care of well, and maintenence was quick to kind of resolve issues (they rig things rather than truly make repairs). I did not get any of my deposit back. I paid a pet deposit in addition to a security deposit, and they blamed dog hair and slight wall scratches as the reason for not getting my regular deposit back. Why even pay a pet deposit then? You can get better housing elsewhere. I would not recommend."

"I have lived here for 5 years, every year they added more money to lease. These apartments aren't worth that much! And in those 5 years nothing was updated, so why is rent going up each year? I was a great tenant, I didn't ask for anything & never complained! I was very, very disappointed to recieve not one penny of the $500 deposit back. I use to clean for a living, and cleaned for weeks but they still changed us a huge cleaning fee! Why did I waste my time cleaning for weeks!!? I know I left the apartment looking better than I found it!! I'm am very pissed!!! Glad I don't give my money to this company any more!!!! So don't expect your deposit back, you won't get it, no matter how hard you clean!!! I do not recommend!!"

"High priced, low quality apartments. The people who live there are great, its nice and quiet. But the property manager is a nightmare - it may look like she is walking her dog but she is snooping behind people's apartments; she loves to have tenants and visitors towed at any chance. Its funny her boyfriend (not on the lease or a tenant) had a special parking pass even employees, who were tenants weren't allowed to have. If you're never home and/or don't have a car then this might be the place for you!"
