"Ufora is the biggest joke in Gainesville! Just ask around. After months of delays and continuous lies, they delivered a poorly constructed building with tons of problems. No amenities, unlocked outside doors, no manager, leaks in several apartments, missing furniture and appliances, broken elevators and the list goes on and on. Homeless people have been found sleeping in the hallways, cars broken into in the unsecured garage, elevator doors opening to an empty shaft, moisture problems are so bad that there were actual MUSHROOMS growing out of baseboards. Fire alarms going off 3-4 times a day for weeks. Poop in the hallways (actual human excrement). The UF legal department had to get involved to protect the rights of the students leasing there. Lots of people walked away as soon as they had a chance, others are stuck there and regretting every minute. They do not allow subleases and the reletting process is ridiculous, with exorbitant fees and waiving the security deposit (none of which was described in the original lease). Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place, for your peace of mind and safety. Do not be tempted by the location or fooled by the recent obviously fake reviews, ask around!"

"I don't even know where to begin. If you or your student is considering Ufora - please run. They delivered the property months late and the amenities still are not done. But please don't make the the reason you don't rent with them. Make it because they lie to you repeatedly. All during the delays they strung us along, blackmailed us with new legal language in the agreement that only benefited them - and owes hundreds of families money. Now that we are there, it's impossible to get them to respond to emails or calls. The office is closed on Sundays or leave early when they feel like it. The apartment has leaks that will (if not already) led to mold. They don't care about your packages and often just threw them on the floor - while not securing any of the outside doors. We have homeless sleeping in the hallways. Now, even when the leases says you can sublet they are telling us of stiff penalties and will not allow it. Save yourselves many, many headaches and take yourself over to one of the many other close apartments! I regret the day we ever heard of Ufora."

"A Stellar Experience at Ufora Gainesville Kudos to Edwin for Exceptional Service! I recently had the pleasure of residing at Ufora Gainesville, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the sleek design of the apartments to the vibrant community atmosphere, Ufora offered a remarkable living experience. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Edwin, the maintenance guy. Upon encountering an issue with my dishwasher, I reached out to the management, and Edwin promptly responded to my request for assistance. Not only was he incredibly friendly and approachable, but his swift response time was truly impressive. He arrived at my apartment within a short period, ready to tackle the problem. Edwin's expertise and professionalism were evident from the get-go. He assessed the situation with precision and worked diligently to fix the dishwasher. What struck me the most was his friendly demeanor throughout the entire process. "If I could give a ZERO I would. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THIS COMPANY. We stuck with them through the entire process-my son was moved from hotel to hotel, crammed in a tiny hotel with a roommate. We believed UFORA and ASSET LIVING when they told us lie after lie after lie. We gave them an additional two months after they were supposed to deliver the apartment to us. When we were able to terminate the lease on their terms, we did. However, we had to pay a full months rent so WE did not violate the terms of their lease. We were told by UFORA and ASSET LIVING that we needed to pay by a certain date and we would receive reimbursement if we chose not to stay with them. I have emailed over an over and over Dixie with ASSET LIVING, UFORA, SAMANTHA-NO RESPONSE FOR ALMOST 2 MONTHS NOW. I EVEN CONTACTED THE PRESIDENT OF ASSET LIVING VIA LINKD IN. NO RESPONSE. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR COLLEGE STUDENT. NEVER EVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM."
