"Not the best place to live should have rated a 1 star"
"Anyone who gave this place over 0 stars must be smokin HELLA CRACK, Great place to get stabbed"
"They were doing some construction in the parking lot so it was difficult to get in and out of that part of the complex until it's done it wouldn't be fair to give a review on that part. Overall it was clean and the tenants that I did meet outside all seem nice."
"I lived here for two and some years while attending the Universitu. Most of the time it was a decent experience, my landlord was a nice accommodating guy and he did his best to ensure the people he rented out to were students as well. As others have said, it isn't the most glorious place and you'll probably be better off if you keep your head down and generally find places to hang out other than the courtyard (though there are many nice people living there, there's just as many who you'd best avoid). Unfortunately my time there was soured, not to any fault of my landlord (Joseph Bogart), but through fault of the association heads hiring the most incompetent people of all time to replace the roof. In early summer 2018 my roof started leaking AFTER they began working on it, which I reported to the landlord and he reported to the property manager. Month goes by, report it again and go out of my way to figure out who was in charge of the roofing crew so I can speak to him directly and he says he'll send someone by to see what's going on. Another month goes by, it's raining every day because these geniuses decided to do the work during the rainiest season of the year and they're nowhere to be found, contacting the association which paid for the 'repairs' to the previously fine roof and ceiling apparently means nothing. About 2 months after the initial problem, my ceiling fell in, soaking my bedroom. FINALLY they fixed it, after generous excuses about how the 'building was uneven so water pools on this area for some reason'. No more leaking in my bedroom, but there was a leak downstairs suddenly in the corner of the living room next to the half bathroom, which- my father is a roofer and told me was most likely the result of some ventilation system from the roof to the bathroom not being properly sealed. Get the geniuses back out, they take a look say 'that's not us' and blame it on water on the floor in the bathroom (a rare occurrence) because of the grout being worn out. Never mind the leaking stops and starts in tune with days that it rains and there's never any water on the bathroom floor. Thst issue never got resolved while I lived there, though I do hope the landlord got it resolved with them paying for every bit of the repair. Lastly, and most pressing for my decision to move, was that after the months of leaking and 2 of the other 3 roommates also getting sick, we find a disturbing amount of mold growing in the vents. I got a severe sinus infection, thought I had the worst allergy season of my life before discovering the mold. For months after moving out of there (almost a year now) I've had lingering health issues with my sinuses being overactive. Again, I passed the info on to the landlord who passed it on to the association I assume, and nothing was happening. I regret that I acted sour in moving out because of how good Joe had been, but I eventually had to break my lease which thankfully Joe was reasonable about. I'm not saying you will have these issues, and I really hope they've been resolved completely because I know I really appreciated having a reasonable landlord, with cheap rent and utilities included, while I studied for my degree, but there's my story. Joe Bogart is great, Ron the property manager is a nice guy even though he can be crabby at times, but the association behind them is terrible."
"This place is something like New Jack City. Not a good place to live at all. The guy who runs the building all though eventually he apologized to me, Was very rude to me and even more disrespectful. He cursed at me when I talked to him respectfully, saying he didn't care and F#©k you! There is a lot of drugs, the place is very dirty and maintenance there is horrible. I was also told that visitors aren't allowed inside the tenants apartments that they have to take their visits in the hallway. It's truly a horrible place to live let alone visit."
