The Gardens Apartments

"We have been living hete for 6 months . wonderful place to call home . Update we were in the process of buying a home . Gave them a 90 day notice . They said they would work with us . Two weeks before we closed on the house they wanted over 3000 dollars . This to me was not working with us. Further more the crime around the outside of the apartment complex has made its way into the complex. Don't even get me started on how they supposedly screen the new residence. While we were there they evicted more drug dealers than I could count. I'm glad we are out of there 1600+ a month for what they provide is way too much. The only bright spot is the matince man John. He goes above and beyond. Update Oh you might want to ask them how many catalytic converters have been stolen in the past year or so. You may also want to look up how many incidents of reported crime has happened with in the last 5 years on the property . Furthermore look into what the parent company has done to fix it. I'll tell you they have done nothing at all. When you do your due diligence on the crime you may be very shocked at what you find. Look at the crime rate at the other properties they own as well. My suggestion is stay away far away."

"We’ve lived here for about 6 years and love it. Very welcoming community, our manager Kelley is amazing. She goes above and beyond for her tenants to ensure all maintenance needs are addressed and resolved in a timely manner, shows compassion and genuine support for residents and is by far the best apartment manager we’ve had the pleasure of working with. The neighborhood is a great place for up and coming families, and complex events offer a comfortable and welcoming environment. The Gardens has made significant progress both cosmetically and culturally over the last few years and is quickly becoming one of Gainesville’s hidden gems. Maintenance personnel go above and beyond to ensure requests are done professionally and efficiently, and are great with accommodating fur babies! We would without hesitation, absolutely recommend making The Gardens your temporary or permanent residence, as our experience thus far has been nothing short of incredible."

"We lived at The Gardens from August 2022-May 2023. We don’t have enough good things to say about it. The grounds are always clean and they get cleaned at least weekly. We never had issues with bugs or pests. The apartments themselves are very well kept, older, but very well maintained. When we moved in everything was in great repair (I could tell the carpet was new and there was fresh paint on the walls) and very clean. We were welcomed with a basket of essentials (soap and cleaning supplies) to get us started. Any time we had an issue and submitted a maintenance request it was resolved or looked at within 24 hours MAX. The maintenance guy John is so kind and always stopped to say hello anytime we were outside. The management here is wonderful, very communicative and professional. I have zero bad things to say about these apartments and would recommend them to anyone looking for a clean, safe, welcoming and convenient place to live."

"I recently moved here from out of state, so I was a bit nervous finding an apartment knowing nothing about the area. Fortunately I’ve had such a pleasant experience with The Gardens. Kelley and Jesse were both very friendly and helpful during the application process. Kelley was here to greet me upon my arrival and was extremely friendly and welcoming and even provided us with a welcome basket along with snacks and drinks ready in the refrigerator for us. There were a few items I noticed upon move in that needed to be addressed by maintenance and John, the maintenance man, has been so helpful and pleasant to work with as well. I can already tell the staff truly go above and beyond here. The community is also very nice. It’s a quiet complex and everyone has been quite friendly and welcoming. I’m really grateful for my experience in my short time here and am excited to live here!"

"I've been living here for 2 months now. Each time something comes up here I am blown away by the response from the property managers. Kelley, who helped me apply and sign my lease, has been so nice, honest, and genuine. Jesse in the front office was there when I moved in. He helped me understand the welcome packet and the community rules; and has even made himself available for a friendly chat. John in maintenance is really welcoming also. As I take walks around the neighborhood we will stop and talk and I can see his passion for this neighborhood. There's also been miscellaneous staff who have come install a new toilet who were professional, explained anything I needed in detail, and made sure not to leave a mess. And I forgot to mention; when I moved in they had a welcome basket with cleaning supplies and toilet paper. This meant an especially great amount to me since I was bringing almost nothing with me. I've asked around and a lot of people have been here for many many years and I can see why. I did a lot of apartment searching in this area and this one has been the most honorable. I highly recommend moving in."
