Fountains Apartments

"If you're thinking about living here then just know you can't have any friends come over unless youre driving carpool in your car. They've changed the parking policy twice in two months. The new policy is one weekly guest pass per resident and that guest can only come over once a month. They make you resigster your guests cars make/model, plate number, and the guests name. And the patios can't be decorated anymore. They said "outdoor furniture only" but then followed up with "no hammocks, chairs, couches, accent chairs, or any curtains". And if your plants die in the winter then just throw them away because you'll get fined if you have anything other than a "flourishing" plant. Don't make any plans about relaxing outside unless you wanna do it at their dirty public tables or the little baby pool that never gets cleaned. Or you can visit their "full gym" that more than 5 people can't work out in at a time. Dont let the new paint on the buildings fool you, there is a great reason this apartment complex hasn't had a good review in years. You'd be better off taking your money to The Edge or College View, where they actually have nice amenities, updated apartment appliances, an infinity pool and real gym."

"Please don't live here. Whoever owns the complex now is money hungry and out of touch with reality. Rent went up over $200 last year and now they're raising it another $200. They refuse to update their website to try to bait people in. And if you decide to live here then get ready to be ignored. Something broken? You'll have to beg for it to be fixed. Questions about policy? Better go in person and hope they answer. Bc if they say "we will follow up" you can guarantee youll never hear from them. All the appliances are old and outdated, nowhere near as nice as the other apartments you can get for the same price. If you're lucky enough to to get new appliances then you better bet it's gonna be the cheapest thing lowes has to offer! When you voice your concerns to the office they just say "we are cheaper than anyone else around here" but they're comparing themselves to FULLY FURNISHED apartments. And know that your lease only apply to you. The owner can make up whatever rules they wants at anytime, and if you don't agree to them they will threaten to evict you and take you to court for the full amount of the lease. And the "perks" here are laughable. The tow company they hire is more likely to tow your car as a resident instead of a guest. Good luck if you make the mistake of leasing here!"

"Honestly I would give this apartment a 5 star review but the management was unprofessional throughout my one year lease at the Fountains. First the apartment is safe, well maintained, and fairly priced. However, I did have some issues with this apartment when moving in and out specifically. This apartment expects you to clean professionally before you move out otherwise they will take it out of your deposits. The apartment does NOT have anyone professional to clean their apartments before new tenants arrive. You cannot hang anything on the walls or put nails in. This apartment’s management company apparently does not professionally clean their apartments before new tenants arrive which I have never heard of. They completely expect the previous tenant to sanitize and clean the entire place well beyond the usual levels. Basically if you are a good tenant, you will still most likely have to pay. Either you have to clean professionally, or your deposit will get deducted for it. Either way, your deposits is already gone when you sign up a lease for the apartment. I leased a two bedroom apartment and I only got less than 1/3 of my deposit back even though I had cleaned, vacuumed, and painted the wall (the same color paint I got from the maintenance staff from the Fountains). I did not have any pets and wass a nonsmoker so I left the room well maintained and clean before I left. The apartment still charged me 170 dollars for cleaning fee and 50 dollars for painting the walls. This do not appreciate. When I said the apartment staffing was unprofessional, I was mentioning that I was lied to regarding my move in time. The move in paperwork said to move in at 2pm however the staff, Alycia told me to move in at midnight. The paperwork clearly stated to move in at 2pm that day. That was going to leave me on the street practically. As I said, nice new apartments in a good location, but definitely some issues that left a bad impression when I left."

"I've lived in a one bedroom apartment here for about four years. The last year at the fountains has been a little rocky but overall a good experience. The office staff is very nice and helpful but if you run into an issue after hours you're on your own. It's important to note that this is not student housing just because it's next to the university. There are a lot of families and older residents living here so it is not a party property. The apartments themselves are in good shape and it is a very safe complex."

"If you’re trying to find a place that is safe, has low prices, and is absolutely beautiful, then the Fountains is your place. I’ve stayed here for just about a year and I just renewed my lease! I have had a great experience with the office staff and maintenance l. Everyone is super helpful and they get things done quickly. I looked for an apartment for so long and finally found my home. The price is great especially considering they include just about everything (except electric and cable). I love my apartment and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else."
