Arena Villas at Blue Angel

"Great concept but poor execution! I have been a resident for just over 6 months and waited to write this review. What drew me to the property still stands as a plus. If you are not ready to buy, want a more maintenance free experience but feel like you still have a “house,” or are temporarily in Pensacola, this is a great concept. I love having a garage for storage, I don’t feel like I live in an apartment, my son has places to play outside, and the community is fairly clean and quiet. That said - this place is badly managed. In 6 months, the office staff has turned over multiple times. There is a real lack of a sense of community, and management is not responsive to issues that come up. Maintenance is great and often makes up for the lackluster service effort by the management and ownership. There is no recycling, no play area for kids, and the dog park is a mess and frequently used by residents as a private yard for their dogs. They leave them there and simply go inside. The overall construction of the homes was poor and there were many quality issues when I moved in. Ownership seems to cut a lot of corners - including midway through my lease stating that they wouldn’t replace light bulbs anymore. Isn’t one of the perks of renting not having maintenance? They also signed everyone up to receive insurance from a company even if you already had your own. When I complained, they said I just needed to opt out. How about not doing business on my behalf in the first place? Honest truth - great concept, lots of potential, but poor management."

"I have lived at Arena Villas for 8 months and love it! There are two things that have impressed me. First the maintenance of the apartments. The maintenance guy is timely, courteous, and friendly. Second is the activities. Once a month there is an event held by management. I’ve been to a pool party, bingo night, movie night, and several food trucks. They truly attempt to include everyone. The leasing agent, Michael, is so friendly also! Also when my friends have come to visit they comment how nice the apartments are. I am proud to live here!"

"After living at Arena Villas for the better part of a year, I am comfortable knowing we made the right choice for our new place to live. The grounds are well maintained and any maintenance issues in the unit (which are few and far between) have been taken care of promptly."

"Arena Villas is a great place to live, application process is so quick and easy. Management & maintenance are super helpful. The homes are spacious, updated, and beautiful- some of my favorite parts are the walk in pantry, huge walk in closets, and the attached garage. The community is quiet, kid friendly, and pet friendly- there’s even a dog park and pet stations throughout the neighborhood. There is also a beautiful pool area with a grill and string lights. All of our neighbors are very kind and respectful and overall I would recommend living here!"

"There aren't enough words to describe how amazing the staff here are. Specifically Eugena- the property manager. While we aren't residents just yet and can't speak to the living experience, I had to come on here and write a review on the professionalism and sincere care that Eugena and (David the regional) has had for our family during our time of transition. Eugena is such a pleasure to speak with every single phone call and asks all of the right questions. She is consistent in her updates with us as prices and specials change as we are looking for our next home. She is truly the reason Arena Villas at Blue Angel is on our list!
