"We didn't stay here as we booked a king bed and upon checkin, they only had a double bed room. We immediately went back to the front desk, returned the room keys and were told we would get a refund. However, the manager made up a bunch of lies saying we never contacted the front desk about the room and we stayed there and used the room. The manager is the rudest and most unethical resort manager ever!"

"The Breezy Palms is one of the best, low key, original keys hotels left standing. Not only does it sit on one of the best pieces of oceanfront land in the keys, it has a great marina, low rise buildings, and is generally a little piece of the old keys. The rooms are not as updated as some, there are no restaurants or bars onsite, but the hotel is outstanding. Spotlessly clean and well kept, comfortable, with friendly staff. Highly recommended."

"Our updated room was beautiful. Only issue was beds are very light and on platforms, so they move every time you do. Also they are RIGHT UP on the front window so you can easily hear your neighbors talking as they walk by. So not a great place if you are a light sleeper."

"After hopping around the keys for a little over a week, we decided to stay here in Islamorada for our last night. I’m sure glad we did! Carlos was very accommodating with our late check in after our drive up from KW. We did have some issues with the keys to our room not working, and he was kind enough to upgrade us after the inconvenience. We really appreciated this as we were exhausted and immediately went to sleep once in the room. The little shop by reception was so convenient for snacks, drinks, bait, etc. Although the key inconvenience was unplanned, I’m glad it happened because I will absolutely book the room we ended up staying in again! The bungalow was fabulous. Plenty of living space and a full kitchen. Spacious bathroom and very relaxing bedroom. The view was incredible and waking up to a bunch of iguanas waiting outside was the best! The housekeeping team was very polite when we came across them and check out was also a breeze. The woman helping us that morning was delightful! We were so sad we were only able to stay one night, but you will certainly see us again soon! We can’t wait to check out the pool and everything else this beautiful property has to offer. Thank you so much for an amazing experience, Carlos and the rest of the team!"
