"Magical, heavenly, amazing. We had an extended family gathering here, with my immediate fam (2 adults 2 kids), and my other family members (2 empty nesters, 2 newlyweds). We all had a truly beautiful time."

"We stayed here for 5 nights over Thanksgiving. Marissa and the rest of the concierge team did a great job in helping us plan for the week, book reservations, stock the kitchen, etc. We were a group of 10 with 6 young kids. The villas were pretty solid - not amazing for the price, but pretty good The beach was okay - needed boats / jet skis to really experience the beauty of the keys. Having two pools was great, including the one that was adjacent to the bar area. The pool and hut tub were shallow (great for kids). The resort is small, which meant you either had the pool area to yourself or one/two more families. The bartender the first couple days (Edith) was very nice/pleasant. The other bartender (Lisa) was brutal. The kids would sometimes jump in the hot tub, run from hot tub to pool, etc. We appreciated that Lisa was looking out for the kid's safety, but good lord, was she miserable. She yelled at the kids a few times, threatened to throw us out and called concierge to complain. We certainly wanted to respect the rules and were mostly successful in making sure the kids followed rules (they are 5 years old), but she was very off-putting and we were the only family swimming. She then proceeded to complain about our "crazy and disobedient kids" to some people at the bar, not realizing that one of us was at the bar area :) The whole experience just made us want to avoid the pool area for the rest of vacation, but unfortunately the other pool was less kid friendly (deeper pool). The kids liked ordering virgin daiquiris, pina coladas, etc. We'd try our best to all order together, but much to Lisa's dismay, sometimes they'd order separately (versus the convenience of making them all together). Evidently, the 20% automatic gratuity was not sufficient for her troubles. And one day, the kids ordered some at 445 - the bar closes at 530, but Lisa liked cleaning up closer to 5 (another major inconvenience!) I doubt we'll be back again (not just because of the wrath of Lisa), but I'd hope that the situation at the bar remedies itself. Beach bars are typically synonymous with good vibes and outgoing bartenders versus walking on egg shells the whole time"

"We just returned from a wonderful trip to Islamorada and LOVED this place. We were in Villa 21 and we were steps from the beach and both pools. I think it was the best villa in the resort. The kitchen is very well stocked and 3 bedrooms very spacious along with a bunk room for the kids. We enjoyed stand up paddle boards, the pickleball court and rented a boat for the week. It was incredible to have the boat right outside the villa, so convenient. We had a couple of issues with the TV (our fault) and there was someone to help us within minutes. The cove you are in is perfect for little kids as it is very calm and shallow (stay away from some rocky areas though). The sunrise and sunset are beautiful - maybe this is everywhere in the Keys, but this was our first time. The ONLY reason I give this a 4 star is the lack of amenities. For the price you are paying the bar and food service should be more expansive. They do not have a liquor license, just beer and wine so daiquiri’s are made from sake? When I emailed the Concerige in advance of our stay, they were helpful, but just gave suggestions and did not help book. They do not have regular exercise classes, but do have a gym and had 1 pop up class when we were there. There is not a spa either, but they can help arrange for someone to come to you. I do not need all of this, but for the price you are paying it is expected at other resorts. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful when we were there so the 4 star on service is more from the lack of amenities and help in booking. Oly, the beach attendant, was so friendly and helpful and always had a smile on his face. The villa is 3 stories high. Ours did not have an elevator, but I do think some do. If you are traveling with people who have trouble with stairs, this could be a problem but was not for us. One last thing - the patios on every floor are AMAZING. Very large patios where you wake up to this amazing ocean view with beautiful colors in the sky! Overall we love this place, if you have little kids, I do not think you could ask for better."

"I stayed here with a group of friends and we could not have enjoyed our stay more! The staff was helpful, the accommodations beautiful and the resort was first class. We had an issue with our AC ( it had been set to a high temp on auto) but the maintenance people came and fixed it immediately. The place was roomy and beautifully decorated, all the appliances were Bosch and there was plenty of space for our 9 adults. We will definitely be back!"

"We stayed in a suite with an amazing view from the balcony. The sunset over the water was beautiful. We enjoy sitting by the water with the fire pit burning . It was so relaxing at the 2 different pools. I wished we had more time to enjoy all of the activities like the bike riding, paddle boarding, boating and playing pickle ball. The king size bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The living room area was spacious . It was perfect to have 2 TV in the room. The concierge staff was welcoming and helpful. The grounds crew kept the property beautiful and the maid staff kept the room clean and well stocked. Thanks for a wonderful stay."
