"3 month ago did tooth cleaning, use my insurance, today received invoice of over $330, saying i had insurance terminated at same time in same page typed "Primary dental insurance status:PAID (AS OF DADE OF DENTAL PROCEDURE)", but i did have current insurance and have it now current. This dental office must get prior authorization obtained from insurance before starting any procedures or before submitting stupid invoice dated year of 223 (3rd century AD) instead 2023. Read back reviews, It looks like i am not only one scammed here. Will not come back here anymore"
"At first it seemed to me that this was a good clinic. I asked them to check what my insurance would cover and they gave me the whole schedule and clarified that these are the exact numbers and I won’t owe any more. After cleaning, my tongue was numb for another two months and I already began to worry that it would not go away, but after 4 months the numbness began to go away. I wouldn't write a bad review if I didn't receive a bill in the mail saying I owe something even though I already paid for everything. I asked them why this was and they replied that the insurance had changed its mind about the plan. Be careful in this situation and ask for written confirmation that you do not owe anything after payment. God bless you!"
"Excellent doctor and assistant. The doctor assistant listened to what I needed to say and communicated to the doctor. The doctor came and listened to me and explained everything. Dr. Moitoso is not about the money it's about serving the patients. He is fantastic. I'm sad that Nicole is no longer there. She used to be in the front desk area, and she was awesome. She tried to meet patient needs and exceed their expectations."
"We have been looking for a good Dental office for the last 3 yrs and have finally found Moitoso Dental. The receptionist out front was very nice and the paperwork was a breeze. I went in for my first cleaning today and Geraldine did my cleaning. She spent about 1 hour cleaning my teeth and did a awesome job. I am not the best patient but she was so gentle and professional she put me right as ease. I actually think it was the best cleaning I have ever had. The facility was spotless and everyone was so nice. If you are having problems finding a great place to go to have your dental work done I highly recommend visiting them."
