"Beautiful resort with large concrete pads and ALL the amenities. Dog park, pond with nature path, pickle ball courts and the most beautiful pool and hot tub. The shower/restrooms are large and private and best of all... clean! The resort was also very conveniently close to restaurants, parks, shops and tourist spots. Can't wait to come back when the park is complete (they are still expanding but the noise was minimal and it was actually fun to see how much they were getting done each day). The staff were amazing. Jim checked us in and got us parked, and daily we saw friendly folks cleaning, on golf carts and in the office. They have a huge clubhouse that will be great for large gatherings with several seating areas and a bar."

"We spent 4 nights here in February. Beautiful Campground with a resort-like feel.. Everything was new and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool and clubhouse area. Very reasonably priced for a high end campground. Very spacious sites and someone did a great job of laying out the campground. Close to Crystal River for manatee viewing and kayaking. We would DEFINITELY go back!"

"One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. It’s brand new, and no expense was spared!! From the pickle ball courts, the bocce ball, the massive pool and area (biggest we have ever seen at any campground other than Disney World) to the dog runs (little and big dogs separate) the huge clubhouse with bar, and the path around the lake. But the best parts for us was the spacious parking pads, which are all concrete and big enough to accommodate any large rig and tow vehicle, without coming close to bumping into your neighbours. And those bathrooms!! Wow! By far the BEST bathrooms we have ever seen! You get your own personal washroom like you would have at home, large, with toilet, sink and shower. All immaculately clean. The place was spotless always! Not to mention all the staff was so kind and welcoming. Even the owner of the campground, was so gracious toward us during our stay. Answering any questions and inviting suggestions on how to improve the new place. Just amazing! Highly recommend staying at Sweet Citrus Acres, it’s affordable, long or short term (the laundry room is also unsurpassed) and there is plenty of things to do in Crystal River, including biking trails to see the Manatees. We look forward to coming back again soon."

"We had a great time here at this resort! It was super clean, and the pads are level and concrete, the people are really nice and help you to your site, the town is full of little shops and restaurants and lots and lots of manatees in the area. We didn’t use the pool or the hot tub, but both are huge with a huge clubhouse! The place is going to be really really awesome when they get completely done!"

"Great campground, very clean, staff are extremely friendly. Dottie was very helpful to book our party of 10 for next year and keeping us close together. The resort is still under construction in Phase Two so it is noisy during the week. The sites are concrete slab and level. The hookups are on gravel which prevents dirt or mud getting on your hoses. We met the owner, super guy. You can tell he is dedicated to this campground. Pickleball courts were nice too. Also there is a dog park close by as well. Bring your fishing rods for the lake or just take a stroll around the lake. It's beautiful. The clubhouse was grand as well as the pool. Very clean shower houses which are singular for use."
