"I was looking for the locally owned place and I chose well. Husband and I are looking for a quiet getaway for the weekend and we found it starting with Tina made us feel right at home. The other staff members were also friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just like homemade except I didn’t have to make it for a change. The bed was very comfortable. We plan on making this our home away from home when we want to get away. Thank you Tina!!"

"First, if you think this place looks like a former assisted living facility, you are correct. However, we gave this place a chance as walk-in's, and we were so happy we did. Tina, our host, let us preview three available rooms, and they were clean, beautifully decorated, and quite adequate for our needs. The included breakfast was excellent and there were good choices. Tina prepared us bacon and egg croissants INCLUDING a gluten-free variation for my wife. It was a very friendly place and we had a great time chatting with other guests at breakfast. If you want to be more of an anonymous guest without interacting with friendly staff, this may not be the place for you. Go to a generic chain hotel by the interstate."
