"I recently incurred a Tiptroninc Transmission error fault code on my Porsche 911/996. The car was in "limp" mode and would only drive in 2nd gear. My OBD indicated a type of transmission control system electrical issue. I took the car to 2 prior mechanics who we unable to properly diagnose & correct the problem. I was referred to Scott by a friend and I'm happy I did. Scott was very methodical and detailed in the manner he trouble-shooted the car. He updated me frequently explaining the process. He traced it back to the TCM module and he was able to provide me a donor unit to test drive the vehicle for a few days to ensure that indeed resolved the problem. When it did, we acquired & replaced the TCM and the car drives & shifts perfect again. The car interior was put back together properly and it was as clean as when I brought it in. He services may be higher than others, but you get a knowledgeable professional who knows what he's doing and it's well worth it. Thanks."

"I took my 1999 996 with 50k miles for basic service. Scott's service charges are 50% higher than vertex. He charged me $200.00 due an off the shelf interstate battery. After he gave me the estimate of $6k I drove to Vertex and had the same work; struts, ac compressor, window regulators, done for $3.8k. Scott is too expensive for out of warranty work. Go elsewhere."
