"I hired this law firm to represent my husband. Upon hiring them I thought we were paying to be represented by Mr. Fallgatter but instead got Lisa. We paid a flat fee of $25,000 upfront and the representation was not worth that amount. We felt like Lisa did the bare minimum and didn’t really fight to get my husband the best deal possible but instead wanted him to settle. My husband’s case dragged out for over a year and there was no change in the amount of years that the state was offering, every motion that was put in by Lisa was denied. So after a year and there was no progress we felt like Lisa was burnt out with the case and decided to fire them and seek new counsel from a different city. If you ask me my honest opinion I feel like the lawyers in Duval work hand and hand with the state. A Miami lawyer should’ve came in that swiftly and resolved my husband’s case and got the same exact deal that we had been asking for from the beginning. Lisa did a piss poor job and I highly don’t recommend unless you just have money to give away."
