"I’m not sure why there appears to be a pocket of people who get the worst service from this company, while others appear to get the best. I’m still sitting and waiting for my case to be completed after having to redo/resubmit paperwork I was told I wouldn’t have to do. I was told I had a ‘full team’ to help me. Not true because I could never get ahold of anyone. Never even got to speak with the person who prepared my returns. I sent multiple emails not only to people assigned to my case, but also to the generic inbox. If I missed the return call after leaving voicemails, then the process would start ALL over. There was no clear communication and when I did get to speak with someone, I was told ‘we’re working on it’. One thing they were working on & just couldn’t seem to get done….sending me the correct year to be signed. I sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails throughout my experience with them and never received a satisfactory response, or even a response in some cases. The person who scammed me into believing I’d be taken care of, Andrew, would NEVER respond to me after his part was done. He sold the product, he should be responsible for it. Beyond that, I received paperwork from the IRS after the fact, had to spend time calling the IRS, which is beyond difficult and one of the reasons I contracted a company to help. Once I got in touch with someone, I was told the multiple pieces of paperwork I had submitted….WAS NOT SUBMITTED. I am still waiting to receive refunds because of this. I wanted education about why my returns looked the way they did. I wanted to find a company I could TRUST and work with continually. I wanted clear communication worth the amount of money I paid. I received none of this. I will acknowledge my case didn’t appear to be as bad as I thought, but I’m also still waiting to hear from the government and I’m scared I’m about to be responsible for things I am either not responsible for because of the work they did, or worse, I am responsible and was mislead. I have been more than patient because I can understand how backlogged things have been this past couple years. I also will point out that I came across the app for this company and when I did, I found all sorts of paperwork I was apparently supposed to receive at the very beginning of the transaction and never did. I also have LOTS of questions about what some of it means since the language is pretty daunting, like ‘penalty assessed’. It’s scary to see that and yet have had no conversation with the company you paid to help you, about assessed penalties. Will you have a better experience than me? Perhaps. But I’d encourage anyone to review the BBB website, check Reddit and dig dig dig to see if this place deserves your hard earned money. And if you get an intake specialist named Andrew, hang up. There’s so much more I’d like to share but this review is long enough. I will forever encourage people to go elsewhere for their taxes."
