"Frank charged me significant amounts of money on charges he knew the result of from the beginning. $7500 in total- he knew the charges would stick from the beginning if I “plead” to get out of jail, and the only reason to hire his firm is to get faster court dates. The end result will probably be the same if charges have been filed. I thought it would look good for me to have a paid lawyer- but in reality every appearance with the judge was a total fail, at times the judge didn’t even look at him. She literally could have cared less. In the end, he did absolutely nothing for me in way of results, every order the judge gave from within 24 hrs of the incident stuck until my jail sentence was complete- and the kicker? He didn’t inform me that by pleading to The charges if found guilty the state of FL confiscates and withholds your property (firearms specifically)- so good luck having a normal life after. But they’re $7500 richer for a few emails, dodged calls from jail, zero help to my wife (who stepped on a landmine apparently), and a month of HARD WORK. The system is rigged and they know it. Do your jail time, and don’t call Frank. He will inform you in jail, “you don’t pay me for results”, “you pay me for advice.” Bad advice as well, since their only goal is to, “get you out” regardless of your life being any bit normal or you possessing your property again. I believe he allowed his personal beliefs about my case to affect his efforts- as I was told multiple times I would never win at trial, and we weren’t anywhere near that, basically forcing a plea deal that was terrible for me in the long run. *As an update- just found out my court fees were not run concurrent either. I owe a solid $1000 for both fines ($2,000!) no contact was restored with my wife over the course of the debacle, I served 3 months, have both charges stuck (not one was dropped even though one was a complete mistake). This lawyer is a joke- you will plea out if you are stuck in jail, do not hire."
