"TLDR: Employee (Linda) made me feel uneasy and unwelcomed. Didn't help me or even acknowledge me at all. Throughly checked my ID as if it was fake and/or I'm underage with a line of people behind me. I have been to this store multiple times and I have always enjoyed my experiences. Except for tonight. I went in approximately 8:30pm. The woman (Linda) did not even acknowledge me. (Okay, fine. Even though I'm the only one in there) I'm not much of a champagne drinker but I needed some for Sunday's mimosas. I walked around obviously confused and not having a clue what I'm looking for. I finally find the section I need. I stand in front of the section for a good 5 minutes just staring at the champagne. Still no acknowledgement. A few people come in and I pull out my phone to lookup some YouTube videos on recipes on mimosas. (Yes, I know mimosas are just champagne and OJ but I didn't know what kind of champagne.) I finally get what *I assume* is right and go up to the register. I'm in my early twenties so I don't even wait for cashiers to ask for my ID, I just have it out already. She looks at it for a good 45 seconds to 1 minute. Examining it and looking at it in different angles. Full on FBI investigating on my ID. Now there's a line behind me and I'm mortified that she's taking THIS LONG to check my ID out. She gives me my ID back and bags up my bottle and says "Here you go" Not even a "Have a good night." I don't know if Linda thought I was underage or what. But the treatment I received tonight was unwelcoming and I felt like I was a criminal."
