"Originally called a local restoration company that we previously used for a construction project and had done excellent work, to use their handyman services. It was for a job that should have been a simple task of reversing our patio vertical blinds. A simple task turned into a project of completely disassembling the track and ultimately causing the blinds to no longer function properly after reassembly. We chose not to have them return to try to correct the error because we did not feel confident in their ability or knowledge to do so. We decided to contact The Villages warranty office to find out who did the original installation. They referred us to Great Lakes Carpet & Tile in Wildwood. We were afraid the job would be too small for them, but contacted them anyway. Glad we did! After explaining our situation, we were told that the way the original work we had done by the handyman was not necessary and most likely had damaged the track. They were more than willing to help us correct our situation, suggesting we replace the track to avoid any further problems. The attention we received from Debra Boone was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and empathetic to our situation. She had our track replaced right away for a great price. Our installers Ricky and George were also very professional and did an excellent job. We cannot be any more appreciative. We are very pleased. Overall great experience. We highly recommend them."
