"I visited City Furniture to purchase an accent chair for my daughter's apartment. I was greeted by a very friendly staff and had the good fortune of having Claudia Jordan assist me in making my selection. She was knowledgeable of all the options in which I could potentially be interested in and her lovely personality and professionalism made my entire experience so pleasant."

"Not a great experience at city furniture. When we initially walked in, no one greeted us; we proceeded to walk around the store and a gentleman finally came and spoke to us letting us know if we had any questions but regardless would be back to check in with us. We walked around the entire store looking for a king size bed and we finally found one that we like but no one was there to help us. I asked an associate to call on someone to help us. We sat around for 10 min and no one came so we left. We knew we liked the bed but would come back on a week day as it wouldn’t be too busy. A sales associate named Alex Rodriguez greeted us and helped us with the purchase of the bed. He explained if there are any problems to call him directly to assist. When the bed delivered it was not leveled as the baseboard was tittering. I called him, no answer, sent text, no response. I called the next day and he finally answered and told me to contact an assistance line to assist . He did not do anything to progress the process and instead was left with a bed that was tilted and shaking and a customer service number. Over a week later, a service man was sent out who only spoke Spanish which made it difficult to communicate what the problem was. Overall I will not be returning to this city furniture if any."

"Be sure to read the return policy very carefully. I spent 3 hours out of my day to go to a store and order some furniture. Since I wasted time out of my day and completed an "in store" purchase they would not work with me on a return/refund. Apparently if I bought my furniture online they would accept a return. Regardless, I wouldn't recommend spending your hard earned money here. Plenty of other great options. To be fair, local staff here was great. All staff was friendly and wanted to help but they have their rules they have to follow. This is a corporate issue and clearly this company values their sales more than their customer satisfaction."

"The style, quality, and price of the furniture sold at City Furniture are all perfectly serviceable. However, if you expect customer service, especially if there is problem, you should shop somewhere else. We placed substantial orders on several occasions in the past few months and had issues with each one. For example, one of my salesman (a VERY smooth talker) simply did not return messages when asked to honor City’s price-change policy. This was, of course, AFTER the sale. On each of the four deliveries there was a problem that required phone calls to customer service, which is the opposite of what they provide. Only upon finally reaching managers in each case were the issues resolved. They might as well write a book on how to turn customers off. City is convenient and, as mentioned above, carries decent quality furniture. Just be aware that you will likely experience aggravation."

"We were impressed with the large selection of different qualities and styles. We were looking for nice solid wood furniture in white/ivory. They had the perfect style and quality set we we looking for and it was on sale as well as in stock. The decorator who helped us (Jasmine) was wonderful. She knew her stuff and listen to our wants and needs in helping us make a choice. Strongly recommend."
