"Tried to order fuel from them for my trip down in marathon. Called several days before to confirm they would deliver and I could get the fuel needed. They told me just to call when ready. Called a day later and gave my information to schedule a delivery. I asked for an estimated delivery time and they said it would be the following day and too early to tell exactly when. The next day I made a call to get and estimated time. I was transferred to dispatch and got a voicemail. Decided to be patient with them since my delivery had been confirmed. After several hours called again. This time I reached dispatch only to find out they didn’t have my name or info. They asked me for an account number and I told them I didn’t have one. This was the first time in three plus conversations I had setting this up that they mentioned having to open an account, including needing to go through and application process. I explained no one had shared this with me previously and the dispatch operator proceeded to tell me it was like a credit card and explained the process of how one would apply for a credit card. I let him know I was well aware of how a credit card application worked, what I didn’t understand was why that was never mentioned from the first time I attempted to set this up? I found them to be very unreliable and unhelpful. Only bright spot was the person who answers the phone to the main line. She was at least apologetic of the circumstances including losing a day of vacation waiting on a promised delivery and the impact it had on my family. I would not recommend them. Others out there."

"Where do I start, I called a week in advance ,was told no problem just call to schedule 1 or 2 days prior, so we call on a Monday are told theiirbdispatch will call us on Wednesday for a Thursday delivery, no call, I call them and a nice employee tries to get dispatch to call us repeatedly, and doesn't know why we can't get a call from dispatch and we never Hear from them. We needed almost 500 gallons, then we hear from a friend that Mr McKenzie said their truck is in the shop in Ft Lauderdale and good luck to finding a fuel delivery. Obviously there is no communication between the office, and dispatch and whomever handles their only truck. This almost caused us huge issues but thankfully marlin fuel transport saved the day with prompt delivery Imho, I would never recommend McKenzie again to anyone. They are priced higher and obviously have inter company communication issues and apparently only one truck Use at your own risk but looking at prior reviews this is not a one off event...."

"Not Reliable, at least in my experience. Filled out form on their website to schedule a fuel delivery. Got a call next day that they would be in my neighborhood the following day. I did see them in my neighborhood the next day but they never called or stopped to fuel my boat. It has been several days and I've not heard a peep from them. Guess will give my business to a different fuel company."
