"They sent this spam to my mother's house and got her all excited. With much skepticism we decided we would check it out since it's a rainy day and all plans ruined. Went there about an hour, maybe an hour and a half after they opened their tent event. Went to the chart they had up that you have to match your serial number. But by looking at the flyer it looks like without a doubt you won. Turns out our numbers weren't under the 1000 dollar winning. But they did indicate we won a pair of wireless ear buds. When we asked for our ear buds we were told an hour and a half into a week long event they ran out. What? How? Did they even have any to begin with? Very unethical business practices. I don't do business with people that send out these scam pamphlets. Do something better. Have a barbeque, a raffle. Something that isn't blatantly a scam. You would have a much bigger turn out. Most people have enough sense not to buy from a business that sends this kind of spam to your home. Judging by your negative reviews it's likely you don't care what your customers think, so for all of our sake hopefully you wont be around too much longer and are replaced with someone with ethics and morals. There's a lot of people out there struggling and sending out flyers promising an award is just down right wrong. You should be ashamed of yourselves."

"We had the BEST buying experience today. Our salesman, Jason Davis, was Phenomenal! He truly made the experience so fast. We walked out after purchasing our new Explorer and he took the time to explain every single gesture we didn’t even realize it came with, set up our Ford app for us, and all of this was in the pouring rain! Can’t say enough amazing things about him or our experience."

"My wife and I spent 5 days that felt like a month, car shopping all up and down the gulf coast. We witnessed every sleazy sales tactic imaginable, were hounded by dealerships day and night, and were talking about giving up and renting for a while when we decided to swing by Matthews Currie to look at a couple of Broncos. We arrived and were met by Izzy Torres, a cheerful high-energy guy that was willing to do whatever it took to pair us up with a vehicle that worked for us at the right price. At first we didn't succeed, but as we told him our needs and our plans and the other vehicles elsewhere that we were considering but that had come up short in key areas, he knew the best fit for us on the lot and drove us straight there to see it in the golf cart. It turns out, it WAS the perfect vehicle (off-road capable like a Bronco but a lot more comfortable on the highway for long trips with a family of three and lots of stuff), decently-priced at nearly $20K below the competitors that we were considering, and we didn't even know it existed. We tried to wait, we even drove off the lot for an hour, but ultimately we came right back, struck up a fair and honest deal with Izzy, and were out of there with the perfect car for our needs and budget in an hour and a half, tops. Izzy in particular was truly one of one. I've never met a friendlier person more eager to please customers and give them the support and information they need to make the right decision for them without pressure or coercion. He even tried to send us home with the car before we bought it just to give it a full test of driving it at night and plenty of time to think about it. Best car buying experience of my life, hands down. Big thanks to Izzy for helping us find the right fit, and guiding us to the right decision with no discomfort or pressure or dishonesty at any step. We can't wait to send you pics of our great summer adventures in our Explorer Timberline. I can't vouch for what others experience when they come to Matthews Currie, but I can promise you'll have a great experience if you walk in there and ask for Izzy! Also shout out to Chris Hicks who was like a ninja whipping through all the paperwork quickly and getting us outta there in a flash!"

"I ordered a brand new Ford Lightning online through Ford's web site and I picked Matthews-Currie Ford as the dealership that would sell me the truck and get the commission. That was a mistake and I wish I'd ordered it from a different dealership. The dealership wasted 5 and a half hours of my time so far and when I wrote them an honest review of the experience the sales rep called me and yelled at me about the review. My brand new truck was delivered to me with over 100 miles on the odometer. Someone took it joy riding, there's no excuse for a brand new truck to have that many miles. I have a very minor issue with the truck that needs to be fixed under warranty. I called the service department and asked them to fix it here at my house instead of me coming in because I don't want to see the sales rep who yelled at me ever again. They haven't said yes yet and it's been over 24 hours. On top of that the dealership didn't do a good job preparing the truck for delivery. Attached are photos of "strings" of plastic that should have been removed by the dealership. I'm dreading what other things they missed or did wrong that I'm going to find. Hopefully only cosmetic things like this and nothing serious. When I spent almost $65,000 with a company pre-tax, including a $1,000 price gouging "doc fee", I expect great service. Not what I've received. Edit: The dealership asked me to call them. I did call them and left the manager a voice mail. He didn't call me back. I'm waiting for two calls back from two different managers at Matthews-Currie Ford and both of them are ignoring me so I lowered my rating from 2 stars down to 1 star."
