"I am absolutely thrilled that I found this place. I moved to Gainesville six months ago, and I have been putting off finding a new mechanic because my previous one was excellent, but I am now 45 minutes away. Recently, my check engine light came on in my older car, and I was nervous considering all of the costly routine maintenance work I have had done that you would expect in a 26-year-old car. They were able to read the code on my car right then and there, put me at ease when they gave me a beyond-reasonable quote for an O2 sensor, and scheduled me for the next day. When I came in for the repair, they got right to work. When they were finished with the repair, we went for a test drive, and she was running smoother than ever. Jeff explained to me everything they did, including adjusting my idle. He told me that I would want to eventually have my exhaust leak addressed to help my car run even better and keep all of the sensors clean and the system optimized. I asked what the cost of that repair would be, and they put my car back in the air. There were three big holes in my exhaust. I was told it could have been because the car sat around for quite a while before I bought it. He said they could patch it easily until I was ready to do the full repair. They patched the holes at no extra charge, and now my car is like a completely different car. I feel so at ease knowing that they are right across town, and while it is unusual to say, "I can't wait to return to the auto shop.", I certainly look forward to this being the place I come to the next time my car inevitably needs service. They really make you feel like family—just a lovely crew altogether."
