"I have a DR brush mower witch sat in my garage for two years the wiring had melted due to the welding job I did on the handles. Rust set in on the control panel. Jeff cleaned it up, figured out the wiring, new battery and had it going with in a month and price was really reasonable. Thanks JLM!"

"I've used Jeff's a few times over the last year and have a had great experiences. Was the repair cheap? No! I don't want cheap, I want it done RIGHT! If you're worried about price, call a shade tree mechanic and hope it works in a month. I'm more than happy with their work and customer service. I'll be back next time I need any small engine repair."

"Great experience! My '05 riding mower deck rusted through and wouldn't stay engaged. I asked Jeff's team to fix the deck, change the oil (hasn't been changed in years), checked the transmission, sharpen the blades, and anything else they thought broken/worn BUT to warn me if they broke a price cap. They called me the next day with an acceptable quote and, with my go ahead, had it fixed and delivered in just a couple of days! She's purring like a kitten and cutting better than ever! Thanks for the great work, you guys!"

"These folks have been keeping my 7 year old mower running in top shape and have never done anything that wasn't necessary. They are super friendly and helpful! I peppered them with questions about parts for my pressure washer and got every bit of info I needed, even though they knew it meant I was going to do it myself. Can't recommend them enough, wish I could give more stars!!"

"UPDATE: I need another part! The hardware wasn’t missing from the bottom of the support bar, they were sheared OFF!! A sheet metal specialist would have to get them out. Another new part $82.57. Also cutting my grass after Sally, smells like I’m about to loose a belt again. So I’m only sharing MY experience and only non-emotional facts. You can draw your own conclusions: My mower deck had pretty much fallen off and it needed to be replaced. I asked for recommendations and a few people recommended Jeff’s. I was apprehensive at first because of the reviews. I took a change and I contacted Jeff’s. I spoke with Lisa and had a very pleasant conversation with her. I also spoke to Jeff a couple of times, also pleasant. My mower was picked up and dropped off once fixed. I supplied the new mower deck. The young man that does the pickup and drop offs also pleasant to speak to. With each pickup/drop off a receipt for payments made over the phone was provided. Jeff was extremely good about calling to let you know when your mower was getting picked up or dropped off. Although they answered all my questions and were upfront about the $50 flat fee for pickup/drop-off and the $85 deposit for diagnostic that would be applied to the total repair costs, unfortunately neither was good about letting you know how much you would owe for the repairs before they were actually done. Being on a fixed income, this is both important and necessary for me. I worried if I could afford to get my mower back. If money is no problem, then no need to be concerned. 17 July mower needed deck replaced and blades sharpened. $135 ($50 + $85) 26 July Repairs completed. Got mower back $114.69. 30 July, with the first use of my mower after getting it back, it stops after 10 mins. A belt broke. 6 August mower belt replaced. Got mower back. $130.96 14 August with the first use of the mower after it was returned, I noticed my bagger sitting was way too low, the bags were touching the ground. I couldn’t figure it out at first but noticed a bar that seemed out of place. After further inspection, I discovered hardware was missing and my rear cover broken where the hardware would go. These pieces hold that bar up that the bagger is supported by ($34.66). I called Jeff’s and Lisa answered the phone. I told him “some hardware didn’t make it back on to my mower”, she immediately said let me put you on with Jeff. I told him the same thing and explained the issue. At first he denied my claims, and tried to blame me for the damage and missing hardware. He then graciously offered again to come pick it up. I declined as I didn’t want to go through the whole week long process again as it was costing too much to keep doing that. He then asked “Well, what do you want me to do if you don’t want me to look at it to try to fix it?”, I told him I was just letting him know, just in case he sees or hears of this issue again. Meanwhile the whole time I hear Lisa in the background cursing up a storm. In summary: 2015 Lawnmower cost: $953.05 Replacement deck from Troybilt $182.52 Paid for mowing while mower is fixed $50 Charges from Jeff’s $135.00 Charges from Jeff’s $114.69 Charges from Jeff’s $130.96 Replacement cover & hardware $34.66 Paid for mowing while mower is fixed $60 Update: New bagger mounting bracket $82.57 Bottom Line: Mower is fixed and it’s working. It wasn’t cheap. What Jeff’s does right: 1. Provides pickup/drop off service 2. Upfront about cost of pickup/drop off service fee and deposit costs. 3. Fixes mowers. What Jeff’s could/should improve on: 1. Letting customers know how much the repairs will cost before the work is done just in case the customer cannot afford the repairs to get their mower back. 2. Avoid repeated trips for repairs. Conducting full quality assurance checks before mowers are returned to customers. 3. Tell Lisa to chill out and watch her mouth while customers can clearly hear her being totally unprofessional."
