"Hired Troy to remove motor from my Astro Van and install a new crate motor from Milton Chev. Troy got the job done on schedule and it was done right for a great price."

"Stay away from Troy Norris and CT&G Automotive. We drove our car in to have an oil leak repaired. It needed helicoils installed and we were quoted ~$1900 and told it would take a few months. During the repair the engine was damaged even worse. Apparently a bit/tap was broken off in the engine- because the mechanic was too cheap to use the correct tools- and it was cut out with a torch. This left a gaping hole in the engine that the mechanic tried to patch up unsuccessfully. Instead of fessing up to the issue we were strung along for 5 months with promises of "next week", then our car disappeared and the mechanic stopped returning our calls or showing up at the shop. Finally, after 8 months of repair, we finally received our car back and it wouldn't start or even turn over. He just threw it back together without connecting the horn and quite a few other electrical components. We were forced to pay for a repair on the car that never occurred. We ended up having to tow it home and sell it for what we could get then turn around and buy another car. We have been to this mechanic before with no issues but NEVER AGAIN. We're strongly considering a legal method of recouping our costs. I wouldn't wish this shade-tree mechanic on my worst enemy."
