Walmart Pharmacy

"Called to see if prescription was ready and was told 30 minutes. Went to pick an hour and 15 minutes later. Was told by blonde girl it wasn’t ready and she would check. Goes back to woman pharmacist who is behind a computer screen. In annoyed tone she says “it’s not ready, he’ll have to wait”. So the blonde assistant comes back around to tell me it’ll be another 10-15, which I didn’t have and told her that. She doesn’t say anything and goes back to the woman pharmacist who says “didn’t he just come here and you told him to wait? I don’t know what’s going on with that I haven’t been able to check yet.” Meanwhile, the male pharmacist walks in and sees that female pharmacist is annoyed and blonde girl is distraught. He asks woman pharmacist if they even have my prescription, and she answers again in annoyed tone “I have no idea”. He goes and checks and tells me “we don’t have that prescription, we’ll have to order it and it will be tomorrow afternoon” Now I’ve wasted 50 minutes of my time driving to and from Walmart in seasonal 6PM traffic. Please teach your pharmacists basic communication skills instead of making up convenient stories to customers. I will not be coming back here"

"I’ve called Walmart Pharmacy (Estero, FL) twice and the phone just rang … no voicemail, no pickup. I was looking to get a vaccine. Looks like I will be giving one of their competitors $100 since Walmart pharmacy is unable to pick up the phone (no matter what time you call)! I CANNOT recommend them. They can’t seem to provide any service!"

"I just went today for the first time. Their costs for our prescriptions are lower than anywhere else, even with insurance. The pharmacist said hello and told me the cashier would be right with me. She was in the corner putting meds into a tube like at a bank. They have curbside pickup! She told me where it was. She saw I had an item in my hand and said she could ring that up as well. I feel like she gave me better customer service than I've gotten at any pharmacy. The pharmacist was very nice as well."

"I called, when someone answered them they immediately put me on hold. I waited 10 minutes then hung up and called back 4 different times. I guess the only way to communicate is in person since they refuse to answer the phone."

"Customer services was horrible. I was treated badly by the pharmacist who had black hair with a goatee and glasses. I was rudely told they didn't have my medicine in stock but when I asked what other similar medicines are available he told me again rudely to just have my doctor send in the prescription and he can't tell me if it's in stock or not! I really think Walmart should change thier policy and let the customer know what is available before having my doctor send in prescriptions multiple times only to be told its unavailable. Insulin is very important, and I as a diabetic I should not have to deal with this........."
