"Recently moved to the area from Pinellas county and called to have them fill my daughter's GERD medicine from another Walmart. My daughter is almost 8 mos. old and miserable, crying and in pain without it. They told me I had no refills left, so I immediately called her pediatrician afterwards who went ahead and authorized refills for this specific Walmart Pharmacy location. My husband went to pick it up after work at 7p and the pharmacist said my husband could come back the next day and pick it up around noon. Husband comes in at 1:30p which is when the entire pharmacy closes for lunch - so he waited around until 2p for them to tell him that they don't show any refills for her medicine. So, basically they're insinuating that my pediatrician is a liar. I wasn't in the brightest of moods when I originally called this pharmacy on Friday morning, having listened to my daughter wail and scream for hours - so I'm inclined to believe that Debbie, the woman I originally spoke to Friday morning, passive aggressively chose to disregard my pediatrician's refill authorization and keep an almost 8 month old in pain longer than necessary because she didn't like "my tone". Good to know that you have someone working here who doesn't mind keeping infants in pain for petty reasons."
