"Went today for the first time. I had to get a new barber since mine (of 6 years) moves too far. I looked at local barbershop online and saw the good reviews for Universal Barbershop. I walked in around 10:30am on Thursday and was greeted right away by Jey who ended up taking care of me. I quickly explained to him what I wanted and he went to work. He cut my hair as if he had been cutting my hair for years. With confidence and precision. Given it was the first time he did it, he did it quickly. I was very please with how perfectly he cut my hair. Cost of the haircut was $35 +$10 tip. I asked for his contact information because I found my new barber. Strongly recommend Jey. I can’t speak for the other barbers but they all looked very skilled and professional. The shop was clean looking and modern."

"Walked in and was asked if I had a preference. I said no preference. Sent me to a barber in the corner who pretended to understand English and regardless of my discription just nodded his head and cut it however he liked (and not how I explained). Took 1 hour (just a low fade, nothing off the top) until I finally just said enough and stopped the haircut. Very displeased with my experience and haircut…plus they do not take debit or credit cards so be prepared to use their ATM for a fee. Hot inside…had to continuously wipe the sweat from my forehead and face during the cut."
