"Finally found a stylist my boy likes! After trying a few different places for my toddler, this place has a few stylists that my boy will sit still for. Even when using the clippers to clean up all around he's much better. Scheduling an appointment ahead of time works best from my experience."

"This review is specific for long curly haired kids. We went here for quite a few years, but the last time we went, our experience was AWFUL. The hairstylist that was cutting my daughter’s hair was horrible! She was trying to brush through my daughter’s hair, which has extremely tight curls, without wetting it or putting leave in or anything else in it. She started to tell me that I need to do a better job of brushing her hair (mind you, I always ensure her hair is adequately brushed morning and at night before bed). After a few minutes of nearly bringing my daughter to tears from the pain, I finally asked to step in and brush her hair myself. After that, the cut she gave her was also horrible. Needless to say, we won’t be returning. RESPONSE TO THE BUSINESS REPLY: I actually left a very positive review 2 years ago which is still showing up here (which must mean it’s under another one of my accounts). On the day of our last visit, I assure you my daughter’s hair was not matted. The hairstylist that was doing her hair seemingly had no experience doing curly hair. We always called to make an appointment and seeing as my daughter had been coming here for so many years, I expected you guys would provide her with a qualified person. This did not seem to be the case. In your response you stated that her hair was matted and couldn’t be wet, and as stated previously that was not the case. As soon as I added some water, I was able to brush through it. I don’t leave many negative reviews like this, but in this instance I felt the warning was necessary for other parent’s with kids that have curly hair."

"Took my 1-year-old son to get a haircut and was impressed! Honestly, I was terrified to come here, I didn't know if he would actually sit still and get it done, but he was AMAZING. Martha was amazing. She did great with the style I wanted. I would definitely go back and would also recommend this place for kids cuts. Actually, I already referred someone there."

"Just had a super great experience here. My son needed a haircut and the person we normally used disappeared. I googled and found Cool Cuts 4 Kids. From the moment I made the appointment I felt comfortable. Martha and Jenny were so caring and nice with my son. They worked as a great team to keep him occupied and get his haircut simultaneously as he was nervous at a new place. We will definitely be back! "We were so afraid for my son’s first haircut at 22 months since he can sometimes get extremely overstimulated and start to freak out. He takes a while to warm up to new people and allow them to touch him so we were expecting a total melt down for his first haircut. We scheduled his apt. with Martha and she was AMAZING! Better than we could have ever expected! Not one single tear was shed! Not to mention the haircut is also perfect! We will be going to her every single time from now on. She was extremely kind, gentle and patient. She is seriously the best. The salon is also super cute and the owner is super sweet and personable."
