"This is a wonderful place to see wildlife, and very convenient from town or the beach. I understand a few people have become successful commercial photographers using pictures from this place! I agree with another reviewer that the signs could be improved a little, but the brochure published by the city is very useful. I was in too much of a hurry to get out there when I had my wife drop me off at the park on Atlantic Avenue. The true trail was only a short walk down the street. If I lived here, I would probably lug my camera from end to end every week!"

"This was a very nice park. We show several deer and watched the sunset. The history here is amazing and very interesting. The hiking trails are great also. Good to ride a bike thru, however, beware of the speeding cars going to the campground if you are biking."

"This is a great park for the family. It has a state of the art modern jungle gym for the kiddos. There are multiple work out stations for ages 14 and up. Nice open field to play in, a path along Egan's Creek with informative signs about the native flora and flora, and even a dock leading down to the waterfront."
