"Artisan's Edge barbershop is more than a haircut, it's an experience. I've been loyal to Frank for over 15 years. His attention to detail is unrivaled! From the antique barbershop decor, you feel the exclusivity. By appointment only says it all, it's truly a special experience. Thanks Frank for your years of great service."

"Frank is a meticulous surgeon with scissors. He is by far the best barber in Tampa, and probably the entire state. If you are able to secure an appointment with Frank you are in for a treat, and it is well worth the price. You need his business, he does not need yours. Cheers"

"Very thankful I was recommended to visit Frank. I wouldn’t consider myself overly picky but having worked with some great barbers while living in other areas of the country certainly know what a good haircut does/doesn’t look like. After bouncing around several places once I moved to Tampa, it was clear after the first cut that Artisan’s Edge would be my new home. Highly recommend this barber, it’s a great experience as well."

"When I moved from Manhattan last year I was in need of barber. I was lucky my girlfriend suggested Artisan's Edge because of the great reviews it had and how close it was to my work downtown. I can say this without any uncertainty, that Frank is the best barber I have ever had. When you book an appointment with Frank, you are the only other person in the barbershop with him. He spends close to a full hour making sure your haircut is perfect, while also making great conversation. If you get a haircut from here, you will not be disappointed. I consider Frank not only my barber now, but my friend."

"I'd like to address the reviews thus far given to Frank, the owner of Artisan's Edge. To start, it goes without saying that Frank is a classic Master Barber, and shows the utmost care in giving both haircuts and shaves. He trained under his father in Cuba, and...once you're in, runs his shop exactly how a classic barber shop should be run. That being said, things are very black and white with Frank. He is the only barber in the shop, so when he is shaving or cutting a client's hair, he wants to give his full attention to the task at hand. He also deals with many beggars and homeless people that try to make their way into the shop, which is why he keeps it locked. If you want an appointment...call the number, and expect to wait. Take the appointment 3 weeks out, it's worth it. On that note, if you miss an appointment, realize you're costing him the price of the cut (as he doesn't take walk ins). The barbershop is Frank's life...he pours his all into it. Frank works his ass off to support both his wife and aging mother in Cuba. He's the best barber in Tampa. It's that simple. You'll have to follow his rules, and you may have to wait to get an appointment...but I strongly recommend being patient because the experience is worth the wait."
