"I attended BHI for the medical aesthetician license, and I could not recommend this school more!! From the teachers to the equipment to the products we us, this school is the best of the best. Ms Bobbie was my teacher for the laser program, she is beyond educated and full of experience! You are lucky if you can land a spot in her class, she is absolutely amazing. I had Ms Bianca (who is unfortunately no longer there) and Ms Betul for the facial program. Both are amazing and educated on skin care. BHI uses top notch equipment for laser and for skincare. They have Candela Laser, SkinPen microneedling, Casamara masks, Hydrafacial machines, Dectro electrology units, just everything we used here is the best in the industry. They have great discounts and deals on products, supplies and machines once you graduate. 10/10 school. I’m sad I graduated :( I will miss seeing the teachers and staff every day."

"I mixed feelings about my experience since graduating in February. On the positive side I had the opportunity to work with great teachers like Ms. Olga, Ms. B, and Ms. Jasmine. I am also very grateful to have had the opportunity to be taught by Ms. Rita from Arviv. She was and is an amazing resource for knowledge!! I do overall feel the experience was unorganized and chaotic. There was one teacher who I did not particularly like her style of teaching and felt discouraged anytime I asked a question but I didn't let it stop me from getting the most out of the program. I am grateful for my learning opportunity with the candela laser in the electrolysis program and meeting and learning from Dave from candela. I think they can make some improvements and be a five star school!"

"My experience at Beauty & Health Institute (BHI) was terrific and I highly recommend attending if you are interested in getting licensed! I wish I had chosen BHI first before I wasted my time and money attending a newer (and much cheaper) school in Tampa. (More on that below.) I found BHI to be very professional and extremely well run from the initial school tour to orientation to graduation day. Everyone on the staff and administration was friendly, genuinely helpful and always answered my questions in a timely manner. My instructor Ms Cathy is a sweetheart and was extremely passionate about everything related to skincare and I found each class lesson to be very interesting and engaging. She always took time for us and treated everyone equally with great respect and she demonstrated endless patience to help those who were behind and struggling. Happily, I graduated and got my facial specialist certification in December 2022. Regarding the other school I withdrew from, please learn from my mistakes; 1.) I would not attend a school where the owner/administration/instructors are all the same person. You want administrators and instructors separate from the owners (Like BHI) 2.) Choose a school that has been in business for several years. (Like BHI) 3.) Choose a school that is listed by Better Business Bureau and also has a good rating (BHI is A rated on BBB). 4.) Don’t rely solely on Google reviews! The owner of the school I originally attended was extremely intimidating and known to get mediocre or bad reviews taken down and get former students to only write glowing reviews. (Any business with exclusively 5 star reviews and not one lesser review is a red flag.) Speak directly with other former students to get their candid input. 5.) Only choose a school where you can tour while classes are in session like BHI does. You want to view the instructor's personality and teaching style, even if only for a few moments. "I rarely post reviews but this time it is totally necessary! After retiring from the Corporate rat race and the hustle of business for many years I relocated to Tampa, Florida. I then decided to pick a new path that would allow me to help others as well as myself by selecting a new profession in a peaceful environment. My new path lead me to beauty school! I researched all of the top rated schools in the Tampa area for weeks and then I set appointments to tour the top picks. Beauty & Health Institute stood out from all of the other beauty schools like a bright shiny object! And they have made even more outstanding additions to enhance the "student experience" there since I began and completed the program. Although, I did experience some challenges along the way, the Administration staff did an amazing job at listening to my concerns as well as assisting me in overcoming my obstacles to successfully complete the program. I was blessed and grateful to be able to complete the Facial/Skin Care Specialist program under the Leadership and instruction of Ms. Brittany. Ms. Brittany is one of the most professional, personable, knowledgeable, informative and kind individuals that I have ever encountered in the beauty industry. With Ms. Brittany's help and guidance, I completed the Facial/Skin Care Specialist program with ease and absolutely no stress at all! Thank you so much Ms. Brittany, for all of the motivation, inspiration and encouragement that you provided to me to complete the program, YOU ROCK!!!!! If I could give Beauty & Health Institute more than "5" stars I would as they are well above and beyond a "5"-Star Rating! And if you make the wise decision to attend Beauty & Health Institute then consider yourself extremely blessed and highly favored if you have the opportunity to experience Ms. Brittany's class, she is indeed a "top-notch" educator! #TrueStory"
