"Really would not recommend for camping in a tent. We were supposed to stay Jan 26-28 and had reserved our stay online but unfortunately, when we arrived there was an older gentleman with a broken down car on our site and we didn't want to cause any problems. And we also did not think it was safe to stay at other spot."

"Camped at the hammock area, sites 1-3 really can't be considered camp sites due to size due to small size. A out enough room to park a small vehicle and two person tent, that's it."

"It seemed empty and boring at first, but it grew on me. The flat field can look magical when it's covered with fireflies at night. I saw some cool turtles and birds and plenty of cows"

"Wonderful place to just get away and be by yourself or camp with friends and enjoy nature."

"Horrible experience. The "Hammock" camp has several sites listed for RV's, that no RV could ever fit into... so that means your only option [because all sites are supposedly booked] is to move into the barren field adjacent to it. Wouldn't have been horrible except for the several homeless people squatting there. With dogs. Partying. Fighting. Smoking cigarettes (ya...homeless...*wink*), peeing in jugs & throwing it into the camp. There is no regulation here. Also...no camp maps so nowhere to even hike. No fishing . UPDATE: we have no choice but to leave today as the homeless here have escalated their behavior to abusing their dogs & girlfriends. Obviously we can't stay because after the police come they will only retaliate & i refuse to just stand by and do nothing like the other campers here."
