"No fishing pier. Couple of homeless foreigners hanging around. Could be better with some local pride and a cleanup."

"It's small but peaceful. There is a long pier where people go to fish at. Nice place to enjoy the feel of the river"

"It's nice but only fish i catch is cat fish and stingrays. Cast netting is allowed there is a small access to launching kayaks. There are also 3 alligators out there. Definitely check out fishingfloridawater.com if you want to learn the best ways and places to fish."

"I found it to be a pleasant place to visit and will return another time to enjoy the lapping water at the shoreline and the walk out onto the pier to see the beautiful Bay Area. The parking lot is sand and gravel and the lawn is cut but I don't remember any picnic tables so you have to bring a blanket and chairs. Only one or two spots to view the water from your car as there is a thick Grove of trees with holes in them for the kayak launching and Pier."
