Swimtastic Swim School - Fort Myers

"I unfortunately would not recommend this swim school, to anyone, but specifically to anyone with toddlers. We recently enrolled for our first month of classes and we’re very disappointed. Not only is the pool freezing cold, (my toddler is not new to swimming and has swam in mild temps but this was so cold she had to leave both lessens a bit early to warm up), the teaching is completely not as advertised. We had 2 different instructors for the classes we chose and while both were kind, they rarely engaged and offered no activities or songs, though the description of the class clearly stated that there would be. We went once and were disappointed, we wanted to give it another go and were even more disappointed. To note, the gym is also not equipped well for children as there is nowhere to change your kids. We paid for a month but have withdrawn and won’t be using the rest of the credit because it was that poor of an experience. We did try to resolve this by using there private feedback forum and by calling them but even though the class was not as advertised, they held firm to their no refund policy so I am writing this so other parents have more information and can make a better choice."

"Continued to change instructors ft myers location when my daughter was more comfortable with one instructor which we signed up for. Her dad signed her up previosly at cape location and fort myers and withdrew her for the same reason changing instructors frequently! Cold temp to water no matter the season at fort myers location. Cape location at least had since enough to warm the pool. Daughter also out with 2 ear infections and couldn't attend 10 days each for total of 40 days! No one cares! Still charged oh and the catch is make ups you only get 2 weeks to make up a lesson if you can even find a spot for your particular class level. Not pleased with this company at all! That's kind like taking from others or taking advantage of them! Would not return. Son as a kid did YMCA and it was better so this will be the option that might work best for my daughter!"

"My kids have been doing the toddler transition class with Ms. Amberly for a couple months and we are very content with the swimming lessons, especially the kind and patient instructors. The curriculum is great - my toddlers have both shown increased skills and confidence in the water. They absolutely love this class!"

"My child is in private lessons with Ty’la. I highly recommend her. She is very motivating and has a positive attitude, which my child picks up on."

"The instructor Amberly is wonderful and incredibly patient. So my review has NOTHING to do with her. I didn’t realize it was going to be a recurring payment. I had received an email stating they couldn’t bill me for August tuition(which was over $300 for two kids). I did the live chat about canceling and was told to just put in my “drop date” and the enrollment would be cancelled. I put my drop date for the 7/26 and was done. Just got an email saying the payment went through. I did the live chat again asking for a refund and was told I’m only able to receive a 50% refund because I did a drop date after the 25th! No one told me in the first chat that there was a deadline."
