"If you are looking for an instructor with an incredible resume and list of accolades to coach then Kirby is your man. More importantly if you are looking for the kindest, most humble, and gentle person to teach your kids, Kirby is still that man!! I have never seen anyone command the attention of kids like Kirby did with such a level tone and calm nature. The whole experience of a lesson with Kirby leaves you wanting more. Our 9 year old daughter who had never touched a wakeboard got out of the water on the first pull thanks to Kirby's coaching as it was happening. Our 7 year old son who has never been pulled behind a boat on anything by himself other than a tube was able to pop out of the water too, and thanks to Kirby's patient and tender demeanor kept him trying. As a father, I could not be more pleased with both the results that came from the lesson, as well as the positive interaction my kids had with a REAL Role Model. I don't know how long our kid's interest in wakeboarding will last, but I do know as long as there is even a smidge of interest in the sport we will make sure Kirby is a central part of it.
