"Great place to bring your dog. Most people are great and the dogs well they are dogs! Sweet, excited, and just fun. That said yes some people are weird, they have absolutely no control over their dog, two Akita dogs were a bit aggressive and the owner actually smacked the dog, pretty aggressively. That was uncomfortable. Another woman said something to the owner, the Akita's soon were gone. I just was mindful and kept Pickles away from them, other than that all the other dogs were just so playful. I didn't read everything and took some treats inside, I won't do that again, that was my fault for not reading all the rules. I brought them back to my car. The beach is clean. One person didn't pick up after their pup, thankfully it was by the fence so you wouldn't actually step in it. One woman came inside with a designer purse, and sat at the tables and when a dog came over and shook off the water she acted like it was the most inappropriate thing, lady your at a dog beach, dogs shake water off them maybe if you don't want water on your designer purse you don't bring it into the dog beach enclosure....just a thought. Sadly it really is the humans who can make the park less attractive, the dogs just make it fun!!! I will still be returning with Pickles, she had THE BEST DAY EVER!!!! At least that is what it seemed like to me!"
