"My only complaint is that this place closes at 5:00 p.m. sharp when it is near 80° until midnight. Makes no sense. Have you forgotten that we are in Florida?"

"Apopka has a nice, clean, well maintained splash pad at a city park. We took our granddaughter here and she really enjoyed playing in the water."

"Well as of today, 6.27.21 I'd caution parents to be on the lookout for a group of middle-aged men hanging around here and across the street at the West Orange Trail Apopka park; they are running drugs consistently between the two. They will also likely be consuming open containers of alcohol. Apopka Police are amply aware but are powerless to remove them from the parks permanently as the current mayor stripped them of that ability, per a conversation hubby had with the officers today. These men don't have children so they really have not reason to be there. The pad itself is cute, with multiple water features for kids of all ages. It has a current capacity of 75. Our group alone ranged in age from 1.5-12 and they all enjoyed themselves. There is a playground adjacent to the pad, still within view that kids can play at a well, along with the park across the street. The only caveat is that the only bathroom facility is located at the trail stop/park."

"Stumbled across this today with my children while we were waiting for an appointment to end. What a great find! Admission is $2 per person and while it's nothing worth traveling from a long distance to experience it's really great if you're local. I would recommend it to anyone with young children. Oh, there's a covered area with picnic tables too."

"$2 per person entry fee. Concrete surface. Good amount of area and variety of water sprayers/dumpers for kids to play safely. Plenty of shaded seating outside the confines of the gated splash pad area, but no shady places to sit within it. When we were there, the water was too heavily chlorinated and it stung the eyes painfully. We've not had that experience at other splash pads. It was not crowded on a Saturday afternoon, but it's only early April, so that may change. Conveniently located catercorner to Apopka Station on West Orange Trail, where there's a very nice playground."
