"Very nice little park, with lots of shade, picnic tables and water. One caution, there is a big mud puddle in the wooded area, so come prepared if your pups like water/mud."
"I was traveling through Tampa when I found this quaint park. There is plenty of shade for both the large breed and small breed area. Waste bags present with running water is always a plus. My boys got to socialize with a few other locals and appeared to have a good time. Our experience here was a good one!"
"This is a nicely kept dog park and also has a big dog section. Thankfully the huge pine trees shade most of the area. There is some type of water fountain for dogs if needed and is well supplied with bags and trash cans."
"Bad experience here, similar to others. I took my two professionally trained dogs to the park to have one of them attacked by another dog. The other owner either didn’t seem to think his dogs behavior was inappropriate. He did nothing to stop his dog or help until I had to get between the dogs and asked him to leash his dog so I could get mine out of there. Unfortunately, I am now struggling with reactivity towards other dogs. The time before, there were small children(2-3 yrs) roaming around the large dog area. I saw one child get knocked down and ran over by a pack of 4 large, running dogs."
"This park is large, shaded, and has separate areas for big and small dogs. Unfortunately there is very little grass, so in dry months it is full of black sand and in rainy months it is full of black mud. My dogs get filthy here no matter when I go. It is also in a wooded area which lends itself to lots of mosquitos. My least favorite dog park."
