Our daughter went from no swimming abilities and absolute refusal of putting her face in the water to being completely comfortable and independent in the water in less than 3 weeks. We are astonished. Jessica worked with her where she was and went with her pace. I never felt uncomfortable with their methods and felt very included in her progress. "I strongly recommend Maureen's Swim Academy, but especially Brenna Bowman as a swim teacher. Brenna is amazing with children and she had my 8 year old son literally swimming within 15 minutes of his first lesson. He went into his 6 weeks of lessons with no swim experience and a bit of a fear of the water and within a few minutes she had him swimming. We did 6 weeks and then about 6 months later we did another 3 weeks refresher. He now looks like a pro doing several different strokes. Private lessons are far superior to group lessons. You won't regret it."
