"If you are in the market for a new or used RV stop by Optimum RV in Bushnell and ask for Ashton Burton. We have owned several travel trailers and 5th wheel but never a motor home. Ashton walk us around a couple of coaches we're interested in first outside opening all the compartment explaining all the equipment he even got down on the ground in the dirt to check the date codes on the tires. Next inside the coach explaining how all the systems work next he asked if we would like to take a test drive I told him I have never drove a motor home and he assured me nothing to and we were off jumping onto I75 for a test drive. "Please make sure to read the updates below the original post. Optimum RV in Bushnell did not honor the original negotiation we had with them upon purchasing a Class A RV. Up front during negotiation, Bill, the general manager, agreed to upgrade the RV suspension, which he stated would cost $6,000, and Optimum would cover HALF of those upgrade charges. Therefore, we added $3,000 (my portion of the suspension upgrades), to my final sale document for the RV. These upgrades were to be completed by Optimum before we took possession of the RV. Upon taking possession of the RV, I asked for the suspension upgrade work orders so I could have those for my records. I then learned that the total charges for the upgrades completed by Optimum were $2,000. Thus, I wanted to have a conversation with Bill about the added $3,000 charge to my final document sale because even if I paid for ALL of the upgrades myself, they still over charged me $1,000. After the sale, Bill would never return my call and I even stopped into Optimum RV in Bushnell to talk to Bill and he was unavailable. So, while I am happy with my RV, I would be very paranoid about Optimum's ability to hold a negotiated commitment, or be willing to even discuss it after your sale is final. I guess my bad for not working that out before the final sale, but they were not willing to share the upgrade paperwork until AFTER I completed the sale. I also trusted what they committed to, as we were very new to the RV industry, so I would be cautious of trusting their commitments. At the very least Bill should have called me back after the sale to talk through my concerns. He never did. Jan 2024 Update: Although Optimum publicly replied to this review saying they would reach out to discuss this matter, they never did. Feb 2024 Update: I was eventually contacted by Tiffany at Optimum and she was very understanding and extremely helpful in finding resolutions to our complaints. Tiffany brought every one of my issues to an acceptable resolution and a big thank you goes out to her and Optimum for getting us into this fantastic RV. We love it."

"Negative five stars if I could rate this “company “. Purchased a fifth wheel from Optimum just a couple months ago and has been a nightmare ever since. First week of owning the unit converter went bad “company” didn’t stand behind the faulty converter although they have stated to me on two different conversations by two different managers that there is a 30 day coverage provided by the company in case of issues and that my extended warranty doesn’t kick in until a month after owning the unit. So after coming almost 1,000 dollars out of pocket,Then having their own service tech come out three times to finally find and fix the issue at full charge of the part and trip charge. Next issue! Roof leaks! After being lead down a rabbit hole by multiple managers that it was an extended warranty issue. Then next manager says oh no that’s an insurance issue. Then to finally have the third one tell me yesterday that pretty much tell me they can’t do anything for me unless I bring the unit in and they will have to inspect it and give me a quote to repair the damages. I say all this to say this don’t waste your time here on a “company “ that doesn’t stand behind what they sell! With a company of this size I am highly unsatisfied!"

"My fiance Brent and I were on the hunt for a RV and we went to many places, called lots of people, did our research, and there is a reason we chose to purchase from Optimum! Not only are they personable, but extremely knowledgable and truly do try to find the best option for you.
